Yes After Listing back I agree that the vocals could be a little higher / more volume in the mix. But as far as over compressing it, not really my thing. This is music, I wanted some dramatic range on it.
Great composition! The only thing you need to do to make this a "hit" so to speak is to add more sounds to make it busier without making it sound too mushy so to speak, but your heading on the right path.
I absolutely agree with EmergeAndSee. You lyrics are decent but probably need more flow and syllables to help with that. I highly recommend you to get a condenser miscrophone at least around a hundred dollars and a sound interface that supports 48 volt phantom power. This will really help with your quality in your music.
