Has a cool tempo, some added flavour will change some of the dynamics
that are lacking...
Sounds like you had fun doing...Over all solid mix cool track...
I agree with "StaticNomad" to me your voice sounds dynamically sound
the Autotune changes the timber of your voice to much...
You as a vocalist do not have to hide behind that, believe me your voice
is that good..
If only you could redo the mix without it, your voice would stand on it own..
I like what you are trying to do and in some spots it's locked and in others
it's not...Gives me a feeling that it's a little off center timing wise in spots...
If you get my drift..
Cool tune structure wise, vocal dynamics are top shelf..
The story line comes off as impossible, because if you
cross the line to fame, things will change...
But it's not about the change, it's what you do with it...
However I do not seek fame. I want to avoid it at all cost.
I feel so good being undercover and away from the spotlight.
It is funny though. I did love the spotlight, when I was a mainstream radio DJ. But I collapsed my ego and got in contact with my low self-esteem and out of the nothingness I found my self. Now I have everything I need from my heart/unconditional love, and I do not need it from outside of me.
Hi. It tends to be me doing most of the typing on my tracks in my replies. I usually give long answers and answer any questions in quite a bit of detail.
But a few people have also given some good detail for this one.
"2 or 3 ways you could've done this guess"
More like 2 or 3 thousand! It's an endless challenge when you're dealing with so much material and so many parts and genres. Shall I have lots more d'n'b? Shall I start off with metal then go into hip hop? Shall I leave the jazz until the end? And many more related questions...
What people will probably never really know is that I make multiple tracks on the same timeline so I move parts inbetween them so I'm often composing a few tracks at the same time, which gets really complicated. So many decisions to make and you never know if you made the best one!
I suppose that's partly why I keep making more and more music. Got to try to 'perfect' my style and come up with the best thing I've ever done. And then do it again!
OOOOOOH....Now that is what I'm talkin about, locked in the pocket...
Voices...Takin off like a rocket, take care of what is added to this
cause this is what it is, right there...
Sorry for the late reply, I missed your comment somehow so thanks for listening (especially since this isn't your cup of tea)
Cheers for sparing the time to listen to the track.

Maaaan.... This hits the nail on the head 4 me...Crazy Good...
I've listened to just about all of your tracks, you've got a bunch that don't have
Guitar that fall right in my wheelhouse...I didn't comment because I was
just cruising your page...
Be fun to see what could be done, if that's OK with you..?
Your timing is spot on and dynamic senseabilities are off the chart, creativity
is historically connected by roots, making your Music ready for tomorrow...
I can tell you run by feel, keeping it real...
I'm hoping that Danjoy4 track will not be our last....
Thanks for checking out my track and hitting me up with your kind words. Do you see what I was talking about having trouble with the 'KISS' process, but looks like you are ok with it.
Sure, if you want to mess around with some of my tracks feel free. I actually work with two guitarist, Midiman and Ferryterry (Franco) but maybe we can so something one day. How is your keyboard skills? I think your style of soul, jazz, and funk are very close to what I'm doing now. Franco leans more Latin and jazz, and James (midiman) more rock which I also love if the rock is not too heavy. Midiman700's page has some tracks I played on.
lol....No TG I take critiques and criticism very well. I'm always looking to improve my tracks so everyone's suggestions are a great help! Thanks for taking time to listen....and to answer your question...no I didn't. This started out as being a simple piano track that was written before I thought about adding vocals to it. I was just experimenting with Bonnie's vocals and only used bits and pieces of her song and tried to fit it in the music that was already written. So basically I guess you can say it was a trial and error thing. I used the same chord progression for Billydragon's spoken word that matches the music a little better. Oh well I guess it's back to the drawing board with this one. lol :D Peace my friend! Dan
Nice keyboard work, if I may say something though...!!
Before you mixed her voice in, maybe you could've tuned it
to the track a little closer...
And the beat gets lost in the confusion of an out of tune voice
and great keys...
I like this a Lyric dancing on this makes a lot of sense...
Right now it wants to go someplace, it just needs 2 more
elements in it;s baggage to make the treck ...
A Guitar or something and a Vocal would move this forward....
Good groove and feel, nice work solid mix...
Need a guitar or some dancing in and out of the melody, would
knock this up a notch...But you're in the ball pack 4 sure...
IT's got a nasty drop to the groove, big bass drum on the 1 if you get my drift
drop that in and everything will stand on that, with a solid foundation...
Cool intro that last 17 well almost 18 bars would be a groundbreaking
direction it has stability groove wise with a simplistic feel-Very Real....
Slap a guitar on that to complement the melody, and you'd have a winner..
MAAAAAN .....This is nasty good, love the Horns moves like it's going
somewhere...
Had a Guitar in hand as I listened to this and the Solo possibilities just
went crazy...
More then 3min. of this and you'd have a heart attack, I'd like to take a
closer look at this if you don't mind...???
Love those big transitions or modulations, it's like spitting sparks on a
guitar...
This is nice, lots of flavour here moves like it wants to go somewhere...
One or 2 of the breaks, Well I guess it will depend on how fast you can
spit that will determine their true value, but over all top shelf stuff here...
In this beat really are a lot of breaks. perhaps some too much but the beat was actually adapted to a particular acapella.
I'm glad that you like it. thanks for your comment.
