Nice song. I like very much the work on the bass: the main loop is very catchy and adds a definite jazzy touch.
Well done!
The epiano chords are building a very nice atmosphere.
Maybe the mix could "merge" better the voice, but I am not sure about it... I like it as it is and I should AB the two options, which you probably have already done ;-)

Definitely the track has potential.
Really like the "exotic" atmosphere. I am not so convinced about the whistle (at 2:29 for instance).
I enjoyed the song.

Again a good one... one thought: since it is obvious that you like Portishead, have you considered posting the vocal tracks of the two covers to see if someone could make a different music for them?
I don't think it can be possible to make a better version than the original, but for sure it can be something different and still very interesting.

Well, the music and the mixing/mastering were made by a professional, so yes, it may sound good ...
Now I'm making music on my own, with my poor means, and it's quite hard to get things clean ;)
Anyway, I'm very happy you came over here, Domenico and liked this song, which is dear to me and reminds me of so many things .

Thanks for the comment! I appreciate the compliment as well as the info about the bass; I'll try to turn it up in a future revision and make sure it's more audible when I redo the vocals. Speaking of the vocals, turns out I had accidentally uploaded a saved version of the instrumental. That issue's fixed now if you'd like to hear it with them. XD

PS: maybe the drums (timpani) should not sit so "in-the-front" in the mix (or maybe my hearphones have too much low end?)
PPS: I know I should avoid giving good comments to tracks where there is no bass guitar at all, but I liked this one :-)

Maybe if you upload the acapella of this song you may find someone willing to re-arrange it: I like the atmosphere, but I think it would require a bit more than the piano as background.

There's good material in there, the mix is a bit "rough" but that's something you can always improve.

PS: I disagree with the bass guitar playing only in the bridge, but then I am bass player so my opinion is biased :-)
