So, back on Dec 29 when I first heard your track, I said I liked it so much I thought i might try a remix. Well, I've been working on it over the holidays and I think its ready for you to hear. I've posted it on Looperman:

I've never done a remix before, so am not sure if my effort really qualifies as one. I pretty much kept your entire track as is. I don't want to spoil the surprise by explaining what I did with it. But, here's a clue. The more I worked on it, the more I became convinced that we needed Patricia Edwards to write some lyrics and sing lead on it. She'd be great! She's definitely got the voice for it.

I liked this one too! You have a great sound. Really fills my headphones.

Absolutely loved it, Baggadub! Really, really nice job on this track. I could tell this was not sequenced. Just sounded far too real -- soulful. Makes me think I should never have sold my guitar and bought this computer.

I think Patricia would be really happy with what you've done.

Am so impressed with your tracks! You get great sound and they are so very musical. Really liked the backing track that Leachim used on Sunshine. And on a technical note, your mixes and mastering sound great. You obviously have great ears! :)

I really like this track, Denjan. I've been trying to finish a track with with Janis71"s pellas for a couple of months, but nothing i've done is as good as this. really nice. Great feel!

Really nice track! Very infectious! Normally, this kind of track would not be my cup of tea, but I couldn't stop listening to it! Production quality is excellent, by the way. Really good balance in your mixing. I wish there was a a way to "favourite" members in Looperman, like you can do in Soundcloud, because I would definitely want to hear more from you!

Old school indeed! Absolutely amazing track, Patricia. Blew me away totally. Like a fine wine, this has hints of the ground in which the roots were planted. I hear flavours of Patti Labelle and Dionne Warwick. But, blended in with your own unique sound. I love the way you balanced emotion with control throughout the track. This is my favourite so far, but haven't finished listening to all your stuff. Will need to check out your tracks on iTunes as well. Am really enjoying your music.

Janis: Just discovered your stuff as I was looking for some promising acapellas to work with. Haven't ever posted a comment here before, but I just had to say that I'm totally impressed by the musicality of your voice, the emotion in your performances, and the quality of the songs you have posted here. I LOVE the fact that you have posted songs en francais. French is the most musical language I think. Certainly, the most sensual. Promise me that when you get famous, you won't stop posting acapellas for the rest of us once in a while! :) I will definitely continue to monitor what you post (are you also on soundcloud?) And, if I get inspired and manage to use your acapellas in anything worthwhile, I will definitely post them here and let you know. I'm not very good at this yet, so I make no promises and I would not want to do anything that was not worthy of your talent.
