A very interesting original house track you have here. I like it but would suggest adding more dynamics or a wider bass, as it sounds a little weak. Other than that good work and good arrangements with the vocals.
YO !
thks for listening and your comment
i do it both what you suggests, also a nice transition with more vocals with tony and his friends and uplifing synths ....
Really great track you got here. You got a great future ahead! Only 14 and already making club bangers? Can only imagine what your music will sound like ten years from now.
Another great tune from you sir! All of your music makes me want to dance, you have a talent for making people dance and i must say that is a talent i hope acquire in time!
This is an amazing drum n bass track you have here! It really sounds like one of those dnbs off of UKF DNB or something! Very professional work here, brilliant work!
No comments yet? This is a great first attempt at dubstep. Here are some of my suggestions,
- I think you should vary the main baseline up a bit, as it does get quite repetitive.
-Bring the drop in a little quicker.... In dubstep the drop usually starts after the 16th bar or 8th bar, rarely ever do dubstep producers bring it in after the 32nd bar, unless they have a very interesting intro which will be used for a music video.
-Add more synths and glitch it up even further. Considering you are new to making music, i would suggest downloading dbglitch if you're going to be producing dubstep. As it is the perfect free vst plugin for making dubstep.
-Add some reverb and Eq to your main synth and drums. It will not only make it sound better but it will give it a bigger and louder sound to make the mix even better.
Later on in your music career you will probably want to buy Native instrument's massive vst. Its perfect for making dubstep and drum n bass.
In the end you did a pretty good job, i hope my tips will benefit you. Take care!
Great work here! I loved how you started the track out, makes you fall for it as soon as you hit the play button. The drums got a 90's/80's feel to it, makes it even more interesting!
Oh my flippers! The sounds you created is amazing! I'm in love with this song. It's like being in paradise! Well done Sir, Brilliant work! You had to spend sometime working on this beauty.
Keep up the amazing work, songs like this one, wins people grammy awards!
wow, thanks for the kind comment. i'm glad you think it's that awesome!
can't say how much time i spent on this in total. i'd say a few dozen hours spread over a handful of weekends with not enough sleep :)
Absolutely amazing work, Static! This reminds me of one of those old cowboy movies or something. I love all of your music choices as well. Great piece!
Good point about the cowboy movies. Hadn't thought of that.
The intro does have a bit of a country swing to it.
Also country sort of vibe in second half, after that breakdown.
The intro is one of my very favourite parts that I'm very proud of.
I tend to do a great deal of highly precise and detailed guitar editing and layering. Listen to that intro again and you'll hear it's a tiny little piece of incidental guitar playing (my own) that I looped up and then varied a bit with another chopped out piece.
This is a very special piece to me.
