Nice track here man! The instrumental is great and so is the raps. I really like the rap flow and the way you all delivered it. Delivery and flow are key to a successful rap track and I think you did a very good job at it.
Nice work here. The vocals are good and I like the instrumental you built around it. The vocals kind of mixes R&B with club like hip hop. It would be interesting to hear the vocals with on both genres. I wonder which one would fit more..
Very nice track here. I like the use of the synths and the overall structure. The sounds give off a very professional vibe. Vocals would definitely help add to that vibe but, it does great on it's own.
The drums are used very nicely here and this track certainly has a lot going on. I think this track would work great for a 1980's based Halloween party. Definitely would see lots of people trying to get their groove on. I'd be the one attempt to and fail horribly. Ending up on social media thanks to my awful dancing lol.
Hey thanks for listening. lol on the dancing. Eighties theme party it is! I´m going as as a Miami Vice Character (Sniff). It was a fun track to make. And now itś spurred aa creative streak with 4 songs in one week so far.
thanks for stopping bye.

The starting sounds captured my attention very quickly which is always a great thing. I love the sounds used, they were nice, chilled and worked very well on the ears. The ethnic drums was a nice touch and helped with the pleasant vibe the piano sounds delivered.
All in all very nice work on this unique piece. Keep up the great work!
I really enjoyed this one. I like the tape-stop effects as well as the drums you used, very nice selection. The track can use a bit of variation as it repeats itself a little too much for my taste, but other than that I really like the effort put fourth.
I love those guitar sounds in the beginning. Did you record those live? The drums work nicely with the entire track and everything is mixed down lovely. I do however wished you put vocals on this. I can only imagine how this would have sounded with your professional vocals on this. Regardless of all of that, this was another great acoustic track and I enjoyed every last bit of it.
Vocals will actually be coming sometime in the future! Bro and I are looking to make a new album now that we can achieve this sound - it's been by goal to get this sound since I began almost 4 years ago!
Nice track here! I really like the use of the looney tune samples. Your rap is very nice as well. It will be interesting to hear the finish product with other rappers on this, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for taking the time to comment, appreciate the input!
I can't wait to see what people come up with. I'm a very impatient person, but I want to wait for the best two verses that come in - hopefully from individuals I haven't worked with before. This way I can see what other sorts of artists my style can blend with.
Great track here, Planet! I love all of the sound choices used here. This track definitely gives off that African origin sound. The mix is done very well and the vocals sit perfectly in the mix. The flute sound that came in around 2:38 was great. Did you use a real flute? Overall, this was done very well!
Hey thanks Mod, glad you enjoyed the tune! The flute was a midi played Vst (pinkillu bamboo flute) which I thought fitted in quite well, I was originally envisioning some more traditional African instruments like the Kora (21 stringed harp) but unfortunately I have no access to one of those, and I couldn't play it anyway! lol...cheers mate Dave :)
Hi mudhoen, very interesting track you have here. The sounds chosen works very for the song as a whole and this track has a very unique style to it, which separates it from other tracks out there.
Nice one here. I really like all of the sounds you mixed in there. Sounds like a mainstream dubstep track, which is great! The mix needs a little work, but you're on the right track.
Nice work here! Its put together well. However there are a few things you should work on. As stated before, the track is very loud. I can't really talk to much about that, as my track are always loud lol. I would have liked to hear more variation within the instrumental itself, as the beat gets a little bit too repetitive, eventually. I know most hip hop tracks repeat a lot, but the key to music is creativity and originality, always try to bring something new to the table and put a little of you in the track.
Next time this is what I'll be looking for. Other than that, nicely done!
Very nice work here, ReonN! This track gives off a very uplifting vibe. I never heard the original, but after listening to your amazing remix, its making me want to give it a listen. The percussion and the FX is great.
Hey Cestevens, its been a while since I listened to some of your tracks. Very nice work as always. Your vocals are nice and soft and fits the loop perfectly. The only thing I would have done differently is add some light filtered drums in the background, as the track progressed. But, that's just taste.
Nice track here. I think it needs some vocals on it, in order for it to be fully complete. Other than that, good work. Sounds very mainstream, but also has its own flavor.
Interesting stuff here, Spiv! I really like the vocals you have here. Was the vocals recorded with that cool microphone you made? Its one thing when you make music, but another thing when you make music with instruments you constructed yourself, soo cool! Some parts of the song sounds a little bit Egyptian like. I picture pyramids, pharaohs and dancing cats.
Hey Modnex, good to hear from you! Happy that you enjoyed what you heard here! In this case, the vocals were recorded with a Marantz Superscope EC-5 which I picked up not too long ago. It's a similar type of microphone to what I built (cardioid electret condenser), but has only a single element and is powered from 1.5v DC instead of 3v. I got it for a steal, with the original case, clip and documents. I really like it for any sort of mono recording, it's very clear and it ignores a lot of background noise. The modular stuff in here is really the only instrument that I built from scratch, but the monotribe is modified both by someone else and myself. Since I've been working really hard on restoring the room which will be my second studio, I have been relaxing a bit in my musical work for the time being, ie not delving too deep into new builds. The key of the song is an Arabic mode, so I think that is what you are hearing. Thanks so much for leaving your comment!
Great track here! This track sounds very professional and fits great with tracks in its era. The synths in this track is great and fit well with the vocals. You all did a great job here.
Great track you have going here. The sounds all work together and are very pleasant to listen to. I can visualize a city at night with the cars going pass on the streets and the buildings lighting the city. If you ever make a youtube video for this, maybe you should do a time lapse on your city and put it with the music. I think it will go very well.
Wow, I'm speechless. This track belongs in a movie. I can see this doing well in a film by Christopher Nolan. Did your inspiration come from some of the composers that worked in his films, like Hans Zimmer? If so, great work!! If not, still great work! Awesome piece, continue at it and maybe one day you'll be composing music for some of these movies.
Thank you! No, Hans Zimmer never inspires me. It is rather Two steps from hell that composed some years ago "Exodus". I try to replay the drums part. I also listen Globus who uses a real orchestra. They do amazing job too. I hope one day, I'll compose for a great movie but it's just a little bit ambitious :)
No comments yet? Well, I'll start it off. Nice track here Midi! Its very creative and gives off a happy vibe. The sounds makes this track different from other tracks out there which is always a great thing. I really like the percussion sound that comes in around 2:01. Its a nice add on. My only criticism would probably be the clipping, but that is something that can be easily adjusted with a few level changes. Any ways nice work here, look forward to hearing the rest. :)
Hey, Modnex. Thanks very much for the positive comment and sorry for delayed response. Figured I would respond when the update was ready. I'm glad you were digging the buggy sounds and the groove. Hopefully the clipping is resolved now and the whole thing is a bit more figured out. Regards, Dan
Nice track here man! The vocals are really cool and the beat is really chill. I also think the mix needs some work though. The beat and the vocals levels need to be fixed and I think you should fade out the track or add a cymbal, so we can know the track has finished. Other than that, the track is on the right track, Nice work!
