brilliant tune ... the groove is outstanding as those rhythm guitars ... in the chorus, I feel a little slip between the music and the vocals, but maybe it's just me... regardless, it's one of the best pop songs I've heard on this site...
fistbump, Danke
Hi Dank! when you dub a piece that was made with another music, it's not always easy to "stall" everything, especially when I don't spend a lot of time on it, personally it didn't shock me more than that, the ideal would be to put the song after the music but with Lauren it is not possible!
Thanks for your listenning and comment !
Michael
You HAVE to finish this one ... huge mood, great guitarish part ... you need some bass (synth), synths and some fxes on my humble opinion ...
hats off, Danke
As you wish, I'll finish it when I'm in a creative mood. I got rid of the high midranges and took out the low end of the strings so I could make room for a clear, but warm 808 that doesn't overpower the mix. What kind of synth do you think I should use? I was thinking one of those synthesized pan flutes.
the mood of the song is outstanding ... the production work too ... the intro and the outro are brilliant ... the synth sound is very uplifting ...
the mix is 95%, I feel a little tightness in the mixing (and, or mastering), especially in the bass sound ... you could extend the equalizer and let it go ... :-)
huge sound all in all, welcome back my mister, Danke
very cool one ...
knowing the background of the song, I was expecting a different mood and I was very surprised by this song that conveys new wave feelings from the 80's ... the stuff is very good musically ... congratulations ...
fistbump, Danke
Thanks, Danke! The new wave comparison made me smile. I love music from that era and always strive to implement 80-type sounds into my own music. Happy to know that I succeeded here.
And welcome your good old, damned, deep, progressive sound which is only yours ... I'm not a fan of dubstep (but really, is that style still alive???) but from you it's another genre ... those bass gurglings are more than feary ... :-)
that female vocal is the opponent of the "negativeness" of the song ...
it was a good idea to "remake" that early product, but to tell you the truth I didn't hear the original one ... did you upload it?
fistbump, Danke
I don't know if dubstep is still a thing or not. I was on the bandwagon for a little bit, but then decided to take my own direction with it. Once Skrillex got ahold of it it all went to #####.
Anyhow, as far as this track goes, I found the acoustic vocals and guitar part on a girl's youtube video. When I first heard it, my brain filled in all the drums and synths. I asked her if I could "remix" it, and she gave me permission. She had a pretty large following. She went on to become a gaming live-streamer, and then one day. She was gone. All of her content. Gone. Her personal web-site. Gone. She just disappeared. I have one other track of hers that I remixed, but since she disappeared before I could get permission to upload it to the public, it sits in my files collecting dust.
I did upload this. It was my first upload. Not only to this site, but ever. I remember getting excited when I broke 20 listens. Now, my track "Labyrinth Of The Absurd" is the 3rd most listened to dubstep track on Looperman. Funny how that works, huh?
I hope all is well with you, brother. Especially the way the world is these days. Take care, my friend.
Aaron.
that riff is cool yeah but the whole song needs another part on my view and some bass guitar ... all in all it's fine but it's not full ...
fistbump, Danke
for me it's much more psychedelic than funk, but it could be my problem ... huge organ and great groovy over here ... kinda live feeling with too many green things at the background ... :-)
fistbump, Danke
yeah i couldn't decide what to call it. no green things in the background but yep it probably sounds like it. Cheers for the listen and fav, much appreciated.
in the higher ranges your voice is sensational, otherwise this theater rock sounds too good ... only the drums are a tad bit weak ... on my view ...
fistbump, Danke
I think you're right about the drums. I'm still not very good at mixing/programming drums so hopefully that'll improve with time. Thanks for the listen though Danke.
danke danke .. curious about some vocal tracks for the song. i somehow stuck to this song and wanna finish it, more songs in the pipeline but i wanna finish this .. sweet little psychedelic popsong .. here other versions of that song .. maybe its toooo slow now. You can define the tempo as you like.https://soundcloud.com/arlonrando/palo-santo-instrumental?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing
great doom ... mood is scary enough ... very cool use of the bass synth (maybe a tad bit much on the volume side?)
you must finish this ... :-)
fistbump, Danke
The bass sound blewed the rest of my hair off my head ... I headbanged all the way ... what an utopian mood, progressive heaven right here ...
all my hats off, Danke
brilliant, bloody brilliant ... that groovy with that bass guitar is fabulous ... you always make top tracks but this one is a hit (with or without the speech)
hats off, Danke
brilliant mood you got here bro ... minimalist but huge emotions come through the song ... the listener can decide what are those feelings like ... and it's so good from a song ...
hats off, Danke
Always nice to hear(read) from you! I think it is definetly a step forward. Had a frew sessions with some good producers which made me realize i have a lot to learn. So had to step my gam eup :-).
Good vocals are hard to come by. That makes me always comeback to LM. Next to the community that is, ofc.
very good one Ron ... my favourite is the sax, so I'm very glad when I hear stg from this instrument ...
