Your clear mix and master is unique and I think not just here...this is pro work and I always feel myself an ##### while listening your tracks...that's for intro...:-)
This music always free me...it doesn't matter 18 or stg minutes, gives me a special state...after it, too...like to rehear it, gives me always new things to discover...a musical ride (using this cliche)...
Thanx for your songs Alex, nice meeting with them all the time
Hey, thanks. You shouldn't feel like an ##### listening to my stuff. I guess you're just trying to say that you think it's really good so feel inferior when listening to it. But you do good stuff yourself so nothing to feel bad about.
If you want to do stuff more like mine, I think the way to do it is to do lots more jamming and then detailed careful editing of all the parts. Keep copying and pasting the parts and then jamming on top and then edit those new parts in.
So, after doing one take of guitar recording, I have sitting on my Cubase timeline sometimes twenty different/slightly different guitar fills for the end of the bar. And I can choose to use any of them(I just have to unmute the part). Or I could use two of them, maybe panning one to the left, one to the right.
Difficult for me to explain how I do what I do though I suppose it is a bit unusual.
I try to think about every single part and spend lots of time working on each one, trying out different ideas and effects. And then I use lots of those ideas and effects as the track progresses. So that's why there's so much detail and always something new to notice when you listen back. Everything is constantly moving!
When I have a synth part that works well, I almost always try copying that whole instrument and then choosing a new synth to play the same MIDI data. This is a great way of adding a different feel to the track. SO, I know the MIDI notes are good playing and just have to go through all the presets I have and choose a cool sound.
I don't know if any of that advice made sense but I hope so. Describing these things can be hard. I have developed lots of simple but powerful techniques over the 14 years I have been recording and making music using computer software.
Now, that's it...awesome prog-epic metal...everything on it's place, good riffs, nice drum, listenable bass...one thing: when you finish mixing and (or) mastering, do you listen the whole track back in headphones? Bit overgained again, but just a little bit pull back that main...:-)
Hi, many thanks for your comment.
Yes I listesn with headphones and with eyes closed to focus on track :)
But its important comments like yours to improve and detect some mistakes
Thanks Again
Paulo
Cool funky, bluesy, jazzy pop...:-) if I'm a DJ in a local radio station, it would be one of the top hit every day in rotation...very groovy as it is recorded live...your voice is amazing in this style, too...do I remember well, this is your first jazzy tune?
Hi Attila :)
Nothing's live in this, I made it all by loops but I'm delighted you felt a live touch in it !
It reminds me of the time when I played in bars with my friends . We would often jam on jazzy-moody blues things late at night after the "concert" .
Anyway, I'm very happy you liked it and thank you very much fro your warm words, my friend .
'Hope everything's fine for you,
Take care,
Bises
awesome 2 minutes...like how you jammin to your rhythm...but that 'vintage' noise it's a bit disturbing...all right, laptop...nice piece, peace, Danke :-)
This is a good song...bit faster than Tom Petty's numbers but feels like the same...but that speak...hmmm...hope you find a good voice for this song cause will be the justice for it...
Yes, you did a beautiful job...though I don't know war games, this must be a 'soundtrack' for that playstations...strong, 'heavy', can imagine that marching figures...good work...nice use of that loops, brilliance from Ebaby...:-)
Thanks. I must say it's fun to hear that even those who make the loops I use likes it. And you are right about the use of it, thanks for the "advice". :)
This is a top track...I can clearly hear and see the place of the vocs in the song...superb thinking...write a number for vocs...:-)
awesome production, fat groovy on the rhythm section, pro synth play (is that you?)...
Be lucky to find somebody, cause this could be the justice for it...outstanding one, favd for sure, all the best
Danke
thanx man sorry about taking so long to reply back and say thanx. I appreciate your comments I did this song as a tribute to my mentor and friend andre lewis aka MANDRE you can youtube his music be prepared to be blown away by it especially tracks like ilse dans lespace light years and doin nothing nothing doing as well as m3000. I did all the music including the solos his solos tyle became my style . he died back in 2012. it was to be on his fifth album MANDRE V as I was producing songs for the album
This is so cool, groovy track...but more electro than rock, of course it doesn't matter...good electro-dubstep loops and awesome rhythm work on the guitars...yeah...
Wayne...agree with Evan, this is soundtrack music from the first class...I imagine an American-Spanish-Mexican cooperation with Tarantino, of course...fantastic atmosphere flying around this small 3 minutes...
Köszönöm szépen a kommentet. :) Peace Bro!
Oh, same as Mr. Brown...where have I've been before?
If someone like good music without respect of genres, has to say it's an awesome track with it's huge feeling and brutal master...I heard your song in Kenny's Splash radio at wednesday night show and decided to listen and comment cause this is fantastic...
All the best, Danke
Thanks danke. I appreciate your continued comments. Iv updated this to include an outo of sorts. I am currently without internet and have limited ability to listen but soon I will be back to return the love. Thank you
This is a superb track...nicely flowing and flying towards to the end...that violin's got beautiful voice...like how you used those synths and the tone of the drum is fit for this very relaxing, moody artwork...
Thanx for the upload
Best, Danke
Thanks for the comment.. Everything you hear was in one go more or less.. Prerecorded drums and stynth and liveplaying the violin.. Worked out pretty well.. Im no professional violin, player but i can take a couple of notes or two.. mastering is of the charts, but its a step in the right direction.. Thanks again.. :) ////Dec
I wish! Courtesy of Music Radar samples and a few hours piecing it all together on Reaper, I particularly like the Reverb effects in the opening riffs. The wonders of samples ;)
This is an extremely 'heavy' song...pain and suffering from the vocalists but there is a hope (I hope...)
Nice use of the synths, like the replying male and female vocs...
Congrats, Danke
First of all, this is (or could be) a good song...the riffs and the drum tone is outstanding...fits with the title...at around 2.40 that bass break is not punctual, I think...that leads are awesome but too overgained...get that main down a bit...and at the end, there is a synth part I really don't understang, I mean the chords you play...a bit chaotic...
This is my summary, hope you don't take it offensively, I really didn't do like this (so partly, I mean)
But this is really good and could be much better...
All the best, Danke
Hell knows, I LOVE this song...I'm not a good expert of this genre but stg was catching me...liked that the second synth over flows the first one...good fxs, voices and it's fast and groovy but it could be tripy song, too...
Really like the main theme of this song...the bass line is outstanding...the whole song is well built, superbly fill into this tripy genre...but honestly, I don't have idea about the object of the collab, this a full, ready song...hmmm...
Special cover, caracteristic Spiv cover...Honestly, this is the first vocalish song where I really like your voice...
Outstanding electro track...
All the best, Danke
Hey Danke, thanks so much for taking a listen! My is not for everyone, that's for sure, so it means a lot to me that you felt this one was better! I appreciate the fave and the comment!
