Ed thought that he never heard music like this so don't wait a deep comment from him...and from me too...:-)
This is avantgarde, alternative, experimental and weird...
In music only 1 name who made same things (only in attitude) is Frank Zappa...
Creativity is obvious so my hats off...
thank you! thats like the best compliment you could have given me.
and i will look into frank zappa.
keep your hats on, no need for formalities here :)
Brilliant...really brilliant...first I listened to the song then I went to the website and see the painting...wonderful composition...match with those blue, dark, dangerous but beautiful flowers...we can easily say that this is artwork...I mean your song...and the painting...hahhh...:-)
Hello dear Danke, I like your avatar pretty colorful :P
thanks for this awesome feedback, I have a evil time to compose and decompose and recompose the piano melody in the ambient part as well for the main melody.Im pretty happy for the result of my patience.
The artwork from miss Neff inspired me a lot. In fact I have many reference: like the choirs who appear 3 times like the 3 flowers, the glowing effect gave me the idea of a powerful and intense moments in the track (the drums)and the dark background gave me the idea of all the ambient parts with the pads and strings.
feel free to fav it in the other website there are a contest and I need all the vote I can :P
Long time no hear but this is is outstanding...no more words...I will recommend for everyone your work if you don't mind cause this is a song what everybody's have to listen...
Your works are more than good...quality and tensioned...riffage factory...:-)
can't help in vocs but wish you all the best to find someone...you deserve it...
Faved from the first notes...industrial/Sabbath guitars and that's enough for me...:-)
The riffs are outstanding...from 1.17 the groovy is like a ton of bricks...
Special track for sure...know that you don't like these kinda sentences but it's one of the best 'heavy metal' track here or the most unique one...all my hats off...
Good to hear you enjoyed my little stoner/doom bit of fun.
"Faved from the first note"
Yes, it's a simple but very effective pattern. Just 3 slow, short hits on the open D string and then up to a big, powerful C chord. And then a bit of F and G.
"from 1.17 the groovy is like a ton of bricks"
Yes, very powerful drums driven by big cymbals. So much fun!
I've done lots of heavy music but this is probably my first proper stoner/doom track. I listen to a lot of that sort of music so I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to come up with my own track in that style.
If you really do think this is "one of the best 'heavy metal' track here or the most unique one" then you should add it to my forum thread that you probably remember:
What a heartfelt song and voice...can't say that I know all of your songs but this outstanding...hopeful and sad, deep and 'chartish' number...not much can produce this production...all my hats off, Danke
It reminds me for a movie is called Escape from New York with Kurt Russell...it could be a soundtrack for that 3rd or 4th episode...outstanding work in the tension...
just watched the trailer for this, it looks awesome!
and thats what i what to work towards, making music for games and movies so its cool you link this with a movie. means im doing something right :D
Very deep, dark song with your low-toned vocal...very much like it...I know that the song is measured on it's own state but for me all of your numbers a bit short...could listen it for a while...:-)
Hey Glad you like it mate, I make music based on how i'm feeling and how my life is going... The past few years I have made a ton of different genres that are really crazyy...
I'm not an expert of hiphop but this is really a 'live' played stuff...bass is outstanding, guitar is funky, rocking brilliant...all in all, respect and handshake, Danke
Danke, Danke! (I just had to say that :) )
I am not an expert either, I just play what I like and I always wanted to do that, i.e. rap and blues based stuff.
Funny that before I told you that you put too much delay on your vocs, this time is I think singing is too dry...:-)
Maybe a tad bit more reverb,,,but this is only personal taste...
Cool song with huge guitars...
Danke, PLEASE never stop giving me feedback and advice! You been
round these parts awhile and i listen. nice when someone says like your
track (we feel good), we perfect our craft though by listening to others
who can give feedback ,or suggest a tweak that makes a huge difference.
Thats why i love this damn site !! used to come for samples, now i come to
listen and read when time allows. Keep the faith D
I think your right Danke ! I like a little 120ms delay on vocals, but it does sound like im singing down in a well :)
Im gonna fire up Cooledit and tweak that session pretty soon....hit ya when i do for a second opinion ! karl
This song (as all of yours) was made by the special maximalism and professionalism which is called 'orlandesque' attitude...every second of the flow made with small, short but effective fxes...the pad what leads through the whole number is ethereal and magical...
I'm not an Irish rooted guy :-) but if you mean that short, last part from around 5.40 is very beautiful...
All in all, Ed will be proud of his Slovenian magus...:-)
Hola, my friend....I'm so glad you're the first one to review this track, cause I always receive a nice dose of encouragement from you and so was from day one! I will also never forget you were the very first person to review my track when I did my first upload ever on Loopey more than two years ago, and it was such a relief, cause I really didn't know what to expect...and the feeling was blissful!
Thanks alot again for all this friendly support !
