Nice work. A little short for house, but it does have that deep house vibe. The mix is lacking in the mids and high frequencies, but a little EQ would fix that.
Sounds nice, but the drums are pretty weak. Kick needs more of a thump. Also needs more perc. Like congas, rim shot etc. As it is it's only Kick/hat/clap and some snare rolls.
I wouldn't expect anything less from you.I don't get the happy comments though, it sounds very dark and broken as if the tree had spouted in a very polluted area or something.
Thank you for your insight into this piece! Yours does seem like a different impression, when compared to the others. Yours makes sense to me, as those dark and broken trees are to be seen most every day around here, and we're no strangers to toxic pollution. In fact I'm starting to feel dark and broken myself. Oh well. Happy you enjoyed the listen!
Doesn't sound bad, but it builds up for 5 minutes. Way too long... A 5 minute build up if fine for 8-9 minute long tracks but for one that's only like 6, it's too long for the beat to really get going.
I completely agree. It's quite too long a build up for almost nothing. I'd love to say I'll fix that but I'm lazy so I doubt that will happen. But thanks for the comment
Some nice play with looping here love the loop you've made, but the bass is too wide. The low end should be mono. And one sound needs it's peak tamed very badly. I can even see it on the waveform.
What and interesting an quirky track this! The people comparing it to 80's sounds are spot on, but it seems mostly early 80's stuff to me, before everything was drowned in reverb.
Hey RogueAi, thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! I agree this one is a bit more reminiscent of early eighties stuff. Been enjoying that sort of music for quite a while. I've been trying to keep my reverbs even more dry than usual lately, so happy you could hear that in this track. Appreciate you stopping by!
This track is bricked (really really squashed). It lacks dynamics. Really needs work and it just cuts off. Just work at it. Just helping, not trying to be mean or anything.
Great vibe on this! It would work very well as part of the sound track to a fantasy/sci-fi game. Makes me think of some of the music in the Metroid games (Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, etc). Sounds alien, yet ancient and mysterious. Like it came from an advanced, yet ancient civilization.
That's okay mate, thanks for the comment. I checked out one of the tracks you just uploaded. I like it a lot mate! I guess you've got a good few years on me. Still really digging it!!

Drill N Bass is pretty much Drum N Bass with industrial sounds (the 'drill' part in the name).
Is drill and bass a new genre? I did a tune years ago based around this idea (Check This Drill on my page if you're curious).
