Thank you for your review and the suggestion. It is a time consuming process but eventually, like you said, I will find something that fits. I appreciate the support.
Nice job dude! I really like this track, these are some of the techniques I want to learn;) Im going through some of the forums on Looperman, but let me know if you can share some techniques:) Perfect track, Faved- Ghostzyden
Keep in mind I may know a bit more than you but I don't know crap and everybody does it differently anyhow. Here's what you need to do first. Subscribe to KVR and to dogs on acid. Both of these sites are loaded with great forums on things from mastering to mixing to sound design. Then download the vengeance club essentails pack, cuz this is second to none in the realm of drums. Also you should get "how to make a noise" which is second to none on the topic of sound synthesis (if you want I would be happy to email you the pdf version that I have) I personally use Fl studio and a bit of reason 5. I make most of my "wobbles" with massive although sometimes I make some in reason as well. I also use a ton of resampling and effects and almost NEVER use a sound on its own (except for my sub bass). I also spend a TON of time working on my tracks. I'm about a week deep into the most recent track I posted and still have a ton of work to do. Bear in mind a few things about dubstep. The most prominent part should be the kick and the snare; if you can't hear these 2 things clearly than you need to crank them up or turn everything else down. Next is the bass, particularly sub bass. For the most part, I just use straight sine waves with no effects, or low pass filtered square or saw waves to give it a little more character, but you'd be suprised how much power one little sine wave can give a track. Experiment with reverb and different filters and distortion and flange and chorus. then export that sample out and import it back in and add more effects (resampling). this is something that can make a weak synth turn into a monster. Also just take some time to just mess around with your synths. I have spent countless hours not even working on a song, just straight sound design. and talk to other people as many as you can cuz I know only a little and have been doing this for less than a year.
Epicness! Sounds like Winds of Plague and Arch Enemy had a baby lol Vocals need some touching up, but awesome idea and track overall 9/10. Faved- Ghostzyden;)
Cool idea;) The part where it completely cuts out before the snare hits is way rough, drums need to be quieter and guitar pulled forward or layered. Nice work though! i really enjoyed it;)- Ghostzyden PS Keep up the good work!
Sick song guys! You should try not to drag the screaming out as much, short bursts of anger sound better lol But I love it and great music to! Fave - Ghostzyden;)
Thx man!! Brat did a great job on the track and I was happy sum1 culd make sumthing with it lol I'm makin more accapellas but I need a better mic sound quality so I'm lookin into that but it more b awile lol
Nice! sounds good:) To get better sound out of your amp, try turning the mid down and keep the gain and bass up, if you have those options. Sounds good either way though, keep up the hard work! -Ghostzyden;)
