Very nice and relaxing track you got here! I like your percussion and synth/ chords choice. I'm loving your break man! The only thing I would love to hear is to have it more power after the break; it's beginning to get a little bit of the same over the whole track. But anyhow this is a song with some great potential man :)
Your surely know how to arrange your songs man. Build ups and climaxes are really well worked out. Very cool/ relax song! Not always a big a fan of the vocal; but i believe that is just my personal taste. Non the less great stuff!
Amazing stuff. Little bit of Daft Punk style here. Absolutly great work on the synths from the beginning till the end. I miss the fact that we cannot favourite the tracks anymore. This would surely will be in my favourites :)
Thank you so much for the review! I'm glad you like it. Daft Punk was one of the main influences when I made this track. Their "Tron Legacy" soundtrack is amazing. =D
No snow here in Holland so far; but I can imagine this inspired you to do this song. Nothin bad to say about this. Very well arrenged/ played and produced. Nice calming sunday chill out music. Ooehh that sax! Love it! :)
Hey man, good to be back on the site right? This song has some serieus electro beats and flow! I really like how you made this crossover between different styles! Top work; nice and dark atmosphere! Cheers :)
You should credit Ferry Corsten for the melody ;) I love your percussion; but along the track is nothing really happening that's kept my interest. The flow is good though!
I love this track. I'm also more into more hard hitting stuff. But the uplifitng vibe this track has is really great. Your chords are really cool. Come on and pull your hands up is a bit off key with the song; but that right time, right place sample is cool (nicely played around with it; loving chopped vocals). Keep them coming my friend! Cheers!
I love your synth work on this one man! It has a nice happy/ summer vibe. For the girls to bump their thing ;) Liking your percussion toms and the vibe this track has. Maybe it would be cool to make a bit more faster synth work after the break to give the track a bit more power after the break. Either way I really enjoyed listening to this man. Faved! Cheers :)
Very great intro; I don't now what I can expect. That build up is great man with the fast kicks. Your melodys are really great. Some dubstep influences is really cool. Great synthwork. Everything works really good. My only negative point is that after a longer time I was losing my attention a bit to the song. Maybe using a break with a great path or something. Great work non the less man! Keep it up!
Wow. This is certently not bad for your second track ever. Well let me help you a little bit. First thing I think you need to focus on is the lay-out of your track. Now its a very busy track and the dance factor on the whole track is kinda equal. Try to build up to a climax; maybe make breaks if you prefer. Try to use filters to cut off the high passes or low passes now and then. Try to use compression on your claps/kicks/snares to make them more heavy.
In this one you used loads of samples. I should focus on a few ones. Pick the ones you like the best and play around with them. But now it sounds way to crowded. Alot of times: less is more.
At last. You make alot transitions. It's like I'm listening to 3 or for tracks in 8 minutes.
But like said. I can here your talent. And I'm sure you will develope yourself very quick. Keep it coming man! Cheers, Erik
wow thanks for taking the time to give such a thorough review :o) and yes totally agree, track is too long, too many transitions, so gonna redo but like you say, build up more for the dance floor element, and not so long, not so many samples.
So much to learn, but so much fun!
peace
Liking this man. It reminds me of Deadmau5 - Ghosts n stuff. I'm not really keen on the vocal though. But this song is so relaxing. Great synthwork and melodys. Big up! :)
No problem. Just play around with them. You will learn alot from it. Keep on practicing and you will find out that you will improve yourself each time you do this stuff! Cheers man and all the best! :)
Hello my friend. I'm glad you like my remix pack :) i like the idea of the kick pattern. It makes it more like a dirty house kick pattern; I thinks thats cool. The robot synth you added sounds ok. From 1:15 you added some wrong patterns together; so it sounds very crowded over there. I think this is not bad for your first remix ever. Maybe you can add some things from yourself; to make it more a personal remix. Maybe some rides will work on this one. Cheers - L'Erique - Erik -
Wow. What a nice build up over here! Very dark unexpected scary synth you got goin there. I love the strings path; that's unbelieveble; how did you made that? You should def. build more around that patch. It's hot! I have to say that 7 minutes is kinda long on this one. Maybe some more synthwork/ maybe some rides or percussion, to make it more bangin'. But love what you have so far! Keep it coming man!
This is interseting my friend. Very dark stuff. i love cross-over tracks very much. I love the sound on 1:51. Just banged my head to it lol! i must say your transition to the break is kinda wierd. Try to use some effect to fade it in. Maybe a wind fx or something. But when it crashes the beat in its great. I agree that there are some pieces in the track that are a bit off key. My advise is; dont always try to make it sound to complicate; sometimes less is more! But I really love how you made this one. As below; keep on listening to the track and just do what feels best. Cheers man! Keep them coming! -Erik-
Dancy pop track you made here; very catchy. I love your work on the track. But for me the vocals aren't too strong on this one. I'm not really liking them. But I enjoyed your arrangement on the song :)
This is a great piece of work. I can hear you have putted alot of work in here. This is really a complete song man. I love your build up and the sounds you have chosen. The guitar part is really a highlight over here! Nice synthwork and great work on the drums. Respect and fav for sure!
hey nice work checking out my track, glad you liked it, and ye id took a little while peicing together, i generally like to keep all my tracks between 4 to 7 mins, it gives it time to be sound complete without things happening to quickly, anyways be blessed, regards
Hello man. First of all I must honestly say I dont have much knowledge of the whole cinematic style. But I think that more ppl should review tracks of other members eventhough it might not seem to be your personal style.
I listend to the whole song without skippin any parts. Your mix is awsome. Very clean/professonial sound you got over here man. One of the best I heard over here in a while. Everything works together. Your percussion, your patches, the horns. I think it could be in a movie straight away. No doubt about that. Respect man! :)
