on Crocodile Seesaw featuring Purpl by doofus
I repeat my self but you really know how to make excellence out of your piano, which combined with so beautiful vocals delivers us a great song. I have enjoyed each and every song of yours up until now. So clear playing, full of harmonies, when needed backing up the vocals, or a protagonist in other cases. You simply are an awesome musician and composer.
My best wishes, Anthony.

Wow Anthony! You, good sir, are much too kind!! I really appreciate that you listen to what I'm doing. Heck, I barely even listen to it myself, so it is appreciated to be noticed. Thank you and best wishes in return!!

on VT Nights x KayOS - Love Vibration by Kayos2
Very, very vibrating and melodic work. It is obvious from the first notes of the synth that a great dance song is coming. I liked your vocals and of course the whole production, in terms of musicality and sound quality.

on Its OK Billy Wake and Bake by Zootman
Nice easy going track with rich harmonies coming out of the guitars. Your vocals are very well put in the song and all together it is a very pleasant hearing. My only wish is about your ending, possibly a simple fading would do just fine.
My best regards, Antony

Thanks Anthony, funnily enough the end had been bugging me too, so I took your advice and just gave it a pretty slow fade. Cheers Chris

on Bled Dry Part One - The Monzder Squadd by TheMonzderSquadd
I do consider this genre of music difficult. I mean to come up with a full song. You do it so flawlessly though, that you make it seem so easy and this is what successful song making means. I liked your outcome, I don't know how this music is made but I like it as a hearing, actually I like all that playing with the vocal effects. I have purchased some kind of such vocal effects but up until now I have never used them...simply because I can't. so keep up the good work and as you see we will listen to your music
Best regards, Anthony

on Resilient Notes ft KayOS by dimestop
Great work fellow dreamers
I am sure we all share this dream of making music that touches the audience in a unique way...and I believe you do make such kind of music.
It is not the first time I write to Paul about his distinctive style, I am actually repeating my self, but it is what I so much believe and admire when it comes to performers. I love the way Kay adds this female sense, it sure is something to remember and recognize. The producer as always, in the mood of revealing how resilient notes can be..
My best regards to all three of you, Anthony

dimestop replied 19th Nov 2024 - 1 year ago
Anthony that is a great review for all three of us, we are all different people and have our own ideas, but we come together when an idea arises and then give each other the space to do what we do, knowing that Oli will piece it all together perfectly to highlight not only his skill as a producer but highlight myself and Kay to new heights too, we can all be flamboyant but we all try hard to bring substance to make the listener think and connect to what is being said, never let age mask your dreams and aspirations, if you set your expectations too high you end up disappointed set them at zero then anything that may happens is a bonus, greed and envy are a waste of energy, i chase nothing these days, that's the only thing that's changed my dreams are still the same

on mylittlecoffin - YOU by mylittlecoffin
Well this song is of pro quality, as I use to say when something reminds me of the well known songs of musical industry. I do not mean that your song resembles to another song or so, I just say its aura is of a hit. It is both the music and the vocals. Minor improvements in your vocal expression I would certainly like, but this is just my opinion.
Very, very well done
Best wishes, Anthony.

on Shapen In Wickedness by ValveDriver
One question that came to my mind was if you had created the music before or after listening to this choir, but you have already answered this, in one of your replies. So I will ask you, do you consider it possible that this hearing could have driven you to writing the music for Shapen In Wickedness? The question actually comes from the way that everything fits so right in your song as if one was made for the other and I mean your music and the choir singing.
Anyway, it is an excellent work with a powerful outcome especially for the admirers of this genre (I mean the darker mood of your composition)
Best wishes, Anthony
ValveDriver
ValveDriver replied 2nd Nov 2024 - 1 year ago
Anthony, that is a great question.
The short answer is that it was a happy accident.
The long answer is, when I was working on this I felt that it needed something more. Something powerful but elegant as well. I have listened to Miserere mei, Deus many times in the past, and thought it would be a good fit. So I loaded it up and like you said, it's like they were made for each other. It wasn't my intent to use this when I started working on it, so I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that both pieces are in the key of G, and the beats were only off by a couple bpms. It was such a small adjustment, that it didn't affect the sound of my track. There were things I already had in there that ended up lining up perfectly with parts of the choir. So, total coincidence.
I suppose there could have been a subconscious inspiration, but I really think it just worked out how it did out of pure luck.
Thank you for taking the time to listen and leave a great and thoughtful comment. I truly appreciate it.
Take care.
V.

on Starman ft True Sisters by Zootman
I liked your music and of course the works from the whole singing team. I have tried to read the comments but my English lack some of it. What I only can say is that judging is a profound procedure not to be applied in any case easily or spontaneously, after all it might be better for freedom as a high human right. I liked the production and I liked the total outcome
Wish you all the best, Anthony.

Hello Anthony,
really glad you liked it ... I was worried that the title would be too much of a classic for many people and that it would turn them off, but apparently there are some, like you, who enjoy listening to my slightly modified version. Thank you, dear colleague...

It sure sounds rock John, I would say it is pure rock sound. Your solo guitar playing is what makes the song so beautiful, it is rather simple but clearly rock. I liked it a lot. I hope you find the right collaboration for the song to be completed .

on Breakfast Beat ft RJR by dimestop
It has been an amazing collaboration according to the results. It is obvious you really wanted to come up with something enjoyable but meaningful and I believe you have a success. In reality we live a very difficult period where the Middle East crisis could always give birth to even bigger problems, not to mention the war in Ukraine. Let's hope we do not live a worst scenario like the one you describe in your writings Paul.
I am glad you are O.K, with lots of energy and productivity

thankyou for your insight my friend, we tried to get the chill out theme to standout sit down have a coffee but we are both political in our views on the tensions around the world, we not blaming no one but the politicians that send our armies to war because all the money that wars generate, they spend thousands of our pounds dollars euros etc on weapons that kill innocent people, spend thousands more on alliances and organisations to help stop war, they are all pointless wastes of our money they are spineless and stop nothing, nobody wants another world war, everyone drinks coffee the biggest export on the planet 60 Billion annually its gold dust, its also nice to sit have a coffee and listen to the birds, and forget about the harsh reality of life for a few minutes, we both appreciate your time
