This is an outstanding collaboration. Great song, great lyrics, great vocals....everything about it is fantastic. I especially enjoyed the guitar work on this.
Keep cranking out the hits gentlemen. Outstanding effort.
We will greatly appreciate your words. The truth is that to me is very easy to work with Wayne (wonderful guitar of course), I make a song, I give it to Wayne and transforms it into what you have just listened. It's wonderful, because I only do to sit and enjoy listening to mixes that Wayne is doing ... is a luxury, because I see my song evolve and transform with the music he is adding.
This is an outstanding fusion of genres and definitely as cinematic as you can get. It's too bad you were limited on the file size. Even though it is a bit rate of 112kbps, it is still a marvelous listen. Really well done. This one would work well in a video game.
Nicely done MisterXM. It has that great RnB feel to it. I really like what you have done with the percussion and when the synth comes in, well that is a magical moment.
Outstanding work Walrum1. Really nice combination of loops, great percussion, and a really nice mix. Live NV said, it would be awesome to hear some vox on this one. Until then we will all just enjoy the instrumental :)
Bonez, this is why you are one of my favorite artists. You can do ANYTHING in ANY genre. Damn, this is absolutely epic my friend. You are one highly skilled individual.
This song would be outstanding for any movie or video game about war. Hell, it could work for any movie, it's that good. The mix is stellar.
Nicely done. I think you have a great voice, and it is good enough to carry the song without the autotune (I'm not a big fan of autotune, especially with people who can sing.....and you can sing). It would be interesting to hear this one with you singing the same lyrics and melody with a piano accompaniment. Great lyrics and I think you have mad skills and control.
thank you so much! I actually thought this song didn't have the autotune on it...weird. I do know I have a version with autotune and one without but thank you for the comment!
Great track!!!! You know it is good when 20 people have listened to it and 9 have downloaded. It just bugs me when people download and don't stop long enough to give you props for a job well done.
The mix is flawless. This is terrific work my friend. Hopefully one of the people who downloaded it will put some great vox on it for you.
Another wonderful track in a completely different genre. You have an ability to move seamlessly from one genre to another, and the final products are always top notch. This track is outstanding in every facet.
Now, I needed something to get my motor running this afternoon, and it looks like I found it :) It looks like you are passing your musical genius along to your daughter...what a talented family you are.
I thoroughly enjoyed this one. A tip of the hat to you and Heather for a job extremely well done. I look forward to more from this dynamic duo.
My daughter and I have worked together in the past, but she will not allow me to upload any of her music, being she is singing on it. She has a wonderful voice, but as you may well know, teenagers can be pretty temperamental about those things.
She has already threatened if I continue to request she shares her gift, she will back away from music. So, being that I don't want to discourage her, I honor her wishes :-(
Maybe one day, she will share her voice.
Hope you are having a wonderful and creative day!!
What a great collaboration!!! It is always a master's class in guitar when I drop by your profile and listen to a track or two, but when you collaborate with Spelljammer, well, then it becomes a master's class in producing a fantastic song. This really is one of the best tracks I've heard in a while.
Bravo to both of you. I'll shut up now and applaud.
25 downloads and only 4 people stopped to comment....man, where is the love people? Great use of Martin's loops to create an absolutely beautiful piece of art.
This track is perfect for a ride down Highway 101 on the Oregon Coast, in a convertible enjoying the sun and the scenery. Love the bass line on this one as well. Terrific work, really well done.
This is an exceptional interpretation of a wonderful piece. The Loop simply does not have enough classical music on it. Thanks for bringing a bit of class to the site.
This is pretty insane and a really good listen. I love the track description...it really adds to the experience. Your mix is outstanding. The only flaw I heard in the entire thing is a little click that comes in with the bass at the 1:03 mark, and then the next two times that bass comes in a few seconds later.....probably just a loop splice. But that is nitpicking the heck out of things.
This track belongs in either a video game or a movie. Very nicely done.
hmmm...i'll go back and take a look at those spots you mentioned, it may have been because i had too many layers at once or gave the loop too much gain or something. But in regards to the rest of your review, thanks a lot, that's really encouraging :D glad you enjoyed it, and look forward to more!
27 downloads and only 3 reviews??? Man, where is the love??
Anyway, great track. My wife listens to this kind of music as well, and this one is as good as anything I've heard on her IPod. Kudos for jumping into the pool and making your wife happy, haha.
Maybe we should all take our cue from this and start producing stuff our wives would listen to.......
Nah, that wouldn't be any fun :)
Outstanding effort. Now to all those who download but don't say thanks, COME ON PEOPLE!!!
HAHA the phantom downloader seems to be one of my biggest fans lol! I'm glad you enjoyed the track! As for the producing music only our wives would listen to, I think I'm a bit to A.D.D. for that lol.
Bad azz vox :) You are really versatile. It takes some real talent to move from this type of metal to something like your acoustic track. Outstanding effort. I have to believe a lot of the guys on here that do metal must might be beating your door down for collabs.
Awesome job on this one. My compliments to the band, whomever they are.
Dude, we need the expanded version!!!! Talk about potential, this one has it.
I had to laugh about the Irish pub in Alabama your Dad plays at...something really funny about that.....
A redneck walks into an Irish pub in Alabama with a parrot on his shoulder. The barkeep says "where the hell'd ya get that"? The parrot says" Alabama, it's full of em".
Anyway, it would be great to hear another 3 or 4 minutes on this one :)
Yeah, I do something like this about once or twice a year (come up with a short snippet for school and then expand on it later). I know that this is the third one I've posted (previously it was the one for Legacy Drive, can't recall what it was before that). So no worries, this will get bumped up.
And its cool about 'laughin-at-alabama-irish' thing, my mom & I have done it a few times. This is mainly due to the area the pub's in (think of a small town with a mix of snow birds and country bumpkins). Though it aint as bad as it was up in NC (Wilmington/Outer Banks areas), the folks down here are more down-to-earth (less snobby than the other). Anyways, thanks for stopping by. Later on!
Wow, DV, impressive program for sure. I'm no DnB guy, but I have to believe someone like Spivkurl would jump all over this bad boy and do something absolutely wicked with it.
Love the tone on this one, everything is really crisp and clear. Awesome job brother.
Yeah, D&B just grew on me over the years. It def isn't for everyone. Though I'm sure some bass-hed'll be able to do some killer stuff with this. Glad ya dug it. Later on!
Nicely done. The one thing Looperman can always use is more acoustic work. It seems to be a lost art form with the advent of electronic music and folks playing only laptops.
This was a refreshing listen. I enjoyed the uplugged feel of this. I look forward to hearing more from you.
Now, this was way too short :) But this one has me really wanting to hear the complete track. Please post when you feel comfortable, as we all would really enjoy it.
Wow, my friend, stellar guitar work. Little bit of Hendrix and a little bit of Petrucci in your style...that's one hell of a combination. Really nice work, great tone.
This one could have been another 3 or 4 minutes in length and I would be a happy camper. Loved the ending as well.
Welcome to the Loop. Nice to have another great guitar player on here.
