Yes quite possibly, I'm working on another track for a friend of mine (Goes by Koble on this site) but I can probably find some spare time to collaborate.
some ideas:
1.) keep the dark undertone.
2.) i know its a trance song but i think the pace is too slow, not so much slow... the variety that is there is fantastic so it needs to jump faster through each section of the song. i think.
- This might sounds stupid at first but think about the really amazing trance songs, there is such genius and variety while keeping the same undertones. If you arent a genius yet at it or have enough changeups in the track and then cycle back older parts, then why not go for a faster paced but still trance-y sounding song. The darkness to it might not be a bad thing to incorporate more into your style. it too, adds depth and variety to whatever you do. why not go for the best you can make it. the most interesting. exciting. thts my idea anyway.
what do you think?
3.) im not good enough yet to recommend anything else xD
Yeah that's a major difficulty of mine, i use mixcraft 4.5 i don't know how to use the metronome its there but i don't know how it works. all my stuff ends up way off i need someone to teach me to fix that so i can improve.
I'm sure you won't like this but I spent like 45 minutes on this tonight, basically its more of a showcase for what you or someone could do with this track, it needs at least two sets oh verses and the vocals right now are just kind of random. anyway, don't flame me, i pretty much post all the time that i know i cant sing i guess you're new here but i already know i make ears bleed so Im sorry for that acapella. again, i don;t think this is any good at all its so very far from it but i thought id post it for you to check out. http://www.mediafire.com/?5stdhrnr6oeq9cc
I appreciate your addition. However, I would recommend playing with a metronome more. You're quite a bit off-beat. What software are you using to create your pieces?
Oh my god, the same thing has happened two my thwice in the lasy three weeks, its been about 4 since I started trying to make music. And I've ;pst my files so many times it feels like so my heart breaks for your track my friend : ( but you'll figure something out hopefully, and hopefully it all works out for you. It does suck so much though ; /
I'm so impressed. the only thing I could recommend in my very humble opinion is it is too long of the same thing like in the middle it would get to the average listener a bit too "boring" although I stuck with it until the end because I was a fan. Maybe with vocals that will change but I'm very excited to hear a final version (as final as music can ever be). I imagined myself driving around listening to this and was like "yeah that would be fantastic". So congrats on a great great song, I mean it.
Wow, awesome thanks for the feedback! I lleft the wide open spaces to give some room for lyrics to be dropped in; unfortunately my studio computer just crashed and I can't get her to come back up so the Cubase files may be gone and this is what I'm stuck with :-/ Going to take it up to a shop today to get it looked at though. Any way thanks for the kid words, I really appreciate it!
I'm definitely looking forward to your work. That's so impressive that the guitar was all you. I envy your talents : D I attempted to learn from this girl but she ended up just using giving me lessons as a chance to try and hook up with me : / so i never learned more than a chord sadly.
Can you post the instrumental to this, the shore? I would love to practice doing a cover of it. I really would appreciate it thank you! oh yeah, GREAT WORK, I'm a fan!
Thank you, bro. It's posted. If you download the track and cut it in half, the 2nd half is your instrumental. Dude it'd be lovely to hear you practice doing a cover of it: hook me up! :)
This was fantastic, were those guitars sampled? I was impressed with the variety. you just need to get a singer to put vocals and screams to this. I'm gonna check out your other work now, peace!
Thanx! The guitars are 100% me...I have vocal ideas but, no time to work them in any song, i do have two songs with vocal i will get up on here soon! once again----> Thanx 4 the review and listening!
so far i like it and im writing this review as i hear it it just changed up on me i really like this, its an experience. oh what i think i hear a guitar of some sort and whats that a xylaphone or accordion....hmmm....thats a questionable choice....it just changed on me again... piano i like this its a thrill ride.
