Hi Becca, this is really RnB romantic track. The sounds used are clean and nice. A little too much reverb/hall on mastering, thats all (you will see when you will record the voice with the vocal Fx that on the main orchestral track this one will be dissolved creating the same effect, improving in the same time the balance and the groove). Same proposal as Carmen (before me): if you want a collaboration on a future work, I will be more than pleased to do it. Great job!
A more than relaxing Bossa-Nova here, with some ingredients of smooth, and a lot of nice ambient. As you got used us, a part of your signature is also the guitar. Well done my friend.
Well done. About the beat: R&B beats usual need more density on HH, (mostly close HH). These beats should be complementary to BD and SD. Even there is not a rule on that, try some 16" different beats on HH until u are pleased of the balance. In some cases, also some additional arps give a plus of color to the rhythm section. About the mixing: a plus on groove, you can get by lowering the leads, and higher the drums (BD/HH mostly, with SD keeping 75% fade off resonance). Try these small corrections, and kill me after:))
Best regards,
I love the original beat and the backward sounds as a layer for the guitars. A real trip... the name is right. The muse was there? Cleopatra, I mean:))
Thank you for the review.Glad that you like it.If you like to keep in touch follow me on http://soundcloud.com/arifanof see you there.
Kind regards Robert.
hey I've gotten several feedback from other people who's also telling me to add a bridge and a big build-up to make this track more interesting. Right now it kind of feels like just another amateur track. I'll work more on it, and I'll update this site with a new version in the next couple of days. Thank you for reviewing and sharing your opinion, highly appreciated :)
Catch you! in the good way, of course: the E W & F influence at brass section. I was hardly waited your new arrangement. There are some favorites composers on this site. You are one of them!
Best regards,
Yeah!! That's what I mean!! Best groove lately: shuffled enough, very good balanced with the bass. The rhythmic guitar is like a candy on this beautiful track. Def one of my favorites.
Gooood job!!!
Even if I'm not such a big fun of trance, I should say this track I really like. It is like an innocent game, but for adults. The break in the middle part improve the groove after. Nice job!!
I'm glad you could enjoy this even with not being a fan of trance! An innocent game, but for adults...that's a very interesting idea! Thanks so much for listening and reviewing!
This is too young for me, but I must say: not bad at all. In my opinion, if remixed with the drums a little bit louder, and the arp synths a little bit lower, could improve the hard core, even if the noise gate would suffer. Also the voices will gain in this matter with a little help from an exciter EQ on 1,6 - 6,4 KHz. Just try, and kill me after:))
Good job!
