Not bad for a first post, partner. Smooth chill. Good mix and master. Good use of loops. Nice acoustic guitar on the left side. Give me some more to comment on, from one guitar player to another. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Thanks. I still shred now and again. I'm much more into songwriting now, that's why my loops are straight progressions. I just love a good 'hooky' song. Youre playing is really good by the way. I enjoyed your tracks.
Micky, I just want to say thank you for this guitar journey of a track. It's been a while since I've had the pleasure of hearing another guitar player use guitars with such integrity. Every instrument has its part in having something to say, and yours said everything to me. Vocals ridiculous hot. Mix and master on point. Had to fav, and download. Got to hear it again. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Hi TAFKAMM, I was very happy about your visit and your super encouraging comment. I particularly like the mention of the guitar work. Believe it or not, I even met Eddie Hazel in person at a festival here once. He gave me a pen instead of an autograph, great humor. Of course, I knew right away that it wasn't just a ballpoint pen, but much more the holy mojo of funk! lol Thanks for listening and for the nice comment and the fav.
Peace,
Micky
Verry cinematic track. It reminds me of something that Elton John or Paul McCartney might do. You did a great job on this track yourself. Well mixed and recorded. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Fantastic track. Jynxz and Micky, how could you go wrong. Very well done. I can't hear any other vocal concept on this track. Micky put the juice on this one. Great over all sound.
I can't tell you how incredibly flattered I feel. Thank you for these motivating words. I don't particularly like the mood on LM at the moment, so I'm working diligently on my solo tracks... which takes me weeks to months. I've also just switched from Garage Band to Logic Pro, and there's an incredible amount to learn. My goodness, you really NEVER stop learning... right?
Thanks for listening and hopefully see you soon.
Peace
Micky
J, this is absolutely Jenious. This is a mixture of fusion / soul /neo soul / smooth Jazz. That vocal fits like a hand in glove. Strong mix and master. This is creativity at its finest on this track. PEACE. T576 OUT.
V, I know the extended version of this is in the vault. Get it out of there. LOL. PRO sound on this one. Well put together. Balenced mix, and dynamic master, who could ask for more. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Powerful sound. EDM Rock. Vocal hook is addictive. Very consistent sound. Hot drums, and synths well placed. Don't drive to fast now. LOL. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Perfect title for this one. Smooth as silk. What a lo-fi Day Off. The sax brought it home for me, along with the simplicity of the arrangement. Good one. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Verry well put together. Strong balanced mix. All the funk is working together. Magix Music Maker has high quality samples. A lot of their samples are already mastered. If I were a sample writer this would be one of my tools for production. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Thanks for the compliment. It's true, MMM is an easy solution (although it "hides" many advanced functions), compared to LMMS which I use more to work on sounds than to compose tracks.
Excellent production. Ambient fusion. Brilliant. The song form is well thought out. Perfect blend of sounds. Verry good mix in my opinion. Solid track. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Classic Dance track. High energy movement. stereo delays at the beginning were musical gangster. This one will slowly but surely rise on the Bill Bord 100, to a noticeable spot. Well put together. You've got skills. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Nothing but HOT HIGH ENERGY FUNK, POINT BLANK. This is some of the hottest funk I've heard here in a long time. Powerful instrument sound for vst instruments. Verry well mixed and mastered. I noticed the wave form is not squashed from here to Madagascar. Guitars masterfully done. Fire guitar solo near the end. I'm still funkin. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Boy, what beautiful, lavish praise. That's pretty flattering and, of course, super encouraging. I put an extraordinary amount of tweaking into this track and by the end I couldn't take it anymore. I mean I got really sick. Now that I realize that other people like the track quite a bit, I like it again. How are you supposed to produce a track without having to listen to it ad nauseam? You probably know the problem too.
Anyway, thanks for listening and for your words.
Cheers, Micky.
I like the trap/ reggae feel. Great placement of instruments. Delays on the vocal was professional. Strong mix. Did I leave anything out? Sorry about that loss. I have had data losses myself and it was horrible. Hurry back player. HOLLA BACK. PEACE. T576 OUT.
dime, you are doing a great job. Everything is better from the processing to the mixes. I agree with Manuela and Rita as far as variation of the vocal track. In your style of music cadence is verry important. As a start on this particular track, You might want to try using a 16th note triplet scale in C Major against the Cmajor7 chord of this track and see what happens. Just a form of cadence practices. Remember one valuable lesson, your ears are your best processing tools. Don't get caught up in thinking there is a set of tools that you must have on every track. Nothing is etched in stone when it comes to processing. I have written songs with little to know processing and it happen to work out fine. YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY. Will help however I can. PEACE. T576 OUT.
hi T,
i will do some research into cadence practise'
although it doesn't come natural to me, i have an understanding of what your saying. my music theory is limited, i don't read music, but have researched minor 3rds, flat fifths, 7th, 8th notes, diminished chords, triads and triplets, chord progressions etc its still all Chinese to me tbf, but at least i know about these things now, i never even knew they existed till 3 months ago :)) with help from the likes of you and others in our community i will improve, comments like this are so important mate, helping me build knowledge, it makes me want to research more too, keep sending the gold nuggets bro
Mark, this aint fair. You didn't have to do me like this. Carpet keys ally cat bass and melting saxes working the stereo field to perfection, what a perfectly made CHOCOLATE CAKE OF A TRACK. Sweet one player. This track reminds me of when I was younger playing smooth jazz in the clubs, when the sax player was doing his thing, I would choose a sexy lady to kik it with before returning to the stage to do a blazing solo. This one was very well put together. The song form was perfect for the simplicity of the track. You know I'm coming SOON. LOL PEACE. T576 OUT.
T576! Ok, so I'm relieved after your critique. The situation you described sounds picture perfect for back in the day! I chill occasionally. This is the outcome of that chill period. And yep the chill period has come to an abrupt halt cause my next track is BUCK WILD N OUT LOL. Thanks for stopping by and giving your expert perspective and compliments on the track. Also, gratitude for the fave. I'll catch you on the flip. Peace.
You know how to do it player. The ending made me want more. Classic x in my opinion. Acoustic piano set the tone of this track perfectly. Drum loop put the icing on the cake, and OfCourse the ending teased me, so I gess I have to listen again. Another good one. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Very interesting track and concept of Pop. I'm impressed with the AI vocal interpretation as well as the arrangement and feel of the music. Nice limiting also, didn't overdo it. I think in the long run the AI software is going to cause more harm then good. Being a child prodigy, music comes" NATUREL" to me. Everything comes with a price. Once the software is perfected, who profits the most. In other words if you're given a record deal, your producer becomes the AI that's tailor made for your concept and genre of music, wich means the naturel way of producing becomes obsolete. Its going to hurt the younger up coming artists who wound learn music the formal way. Why study chords or scales? The best music is and always will be music that is written from the HEART and not the fanatical gain.
Hello T576, thank you for listening and for doing a very interesting analysis of this musical track.
I believe that AI is a tool that we have to learn to use and also incorporate into our creative process when it comes to artistic matters.
As for human expressiveness, this is very important and, in my opinion, is what should give direction to musical work.
Perhaps something is lost in this process, but good musicians and composers will always stand out to the public.
