Hey I downloaded the song and would like to upload this song. It's yours but if you allow me to upload it I'll tell the story about it in the description.
Pretty sic. Your drops are your own. I really like it. I'm watching YouTube tutorials for professional drop creation and the right sound design is 1st step.
Thanks so much for your honest insight, JW. I really appreciate your kind words. Your feedback means a lot to me, and Im truly grateful you took the time to listen and share your thoughts.
Yes I'm sure there is always room for improvement and we should always push ourselves to achieve higher.
I'm mostly self taught and not close to being a professional. My dubstep track I'm a boss dose have some sampling in it but from the reception I got appears to be the best thing I created so far and Having difficulty doing better than that track.
Time isn't on anybody's side either, I'm 48 so ##### I might die before I can get into sound design and melody creation myself. Lol
Nice to see that your not scared to public release your music for feedback. I have known people to keep decent and really good music private cause they didn't feel it was good enough.
My dubstep track is located here if you want to listen. I'm sure it has lots of improvement that could be made too but was the best I could do at the time. I'm simply not a professional and doubt I could achieve that anyway not really a goal in my life right now.
I'm trying to understand how to improve my mixing and mastering. I'm self-taught, now and forever, haha. I learn by watching YouTube videos and experimenting, but I have a bad ear for this; I struggle to notice differences.
I just listened to "I'm a Boss," and I think it's a great composition. For me, creating something like that is very complexso many sounds, so many effects, percussion... ugh, I'm not capable of doing something like that. Besides, the sounds are incredibly clear. And I've seen that you have more great tracks; I'll listen to more when I have some time.
At 48, you have half your life ahead of you to keep learning. I'm turning 62, I started at Christmas, and I see that I'm not making much progress; it's very difficult for me. But it was something I always wanted to do: create music. I decided to learn, but only for myself, for my own satisfaction. I wouldn't have signed up here or anywhere else if I hadn't realized it was the right thing to do to thank Odarka for letting me download her voice. But I'm embarrassed to share what I do without knowing anything about music; I use a Circle of Fifths to help me with the chords, haha.

Some samples and loops came from looperman.
