You got some skills. I really like what you do with the synth, seems to decay into some strange build up brew. The bass synth is fat as hell, however I would have liked to hear a little more filter modulation on it. the production is thick and robust. All around great chilled out ambient dubstep track!
Kudos for it bein your first attempt at the genre.
Wow! Nice Looperman debut! This is a very well made piece. The vocals are very laid back and compliment the overall track nicely. Groovy beat. The synth work is top notch. I feel like I am on a journey through the galaxy checkin out the nebulas and star clusters. Very Very good song. gonna dl for personal library if you dont mind (I have not dl'd any songs from the site, but this is very chill). Fav'd and I cant wait to hear whats to come from you.
Dude, this is sick. Glitch-o-rama. Sweet melody you work in there. When I put a glitch track together, I usually have a hard time finding a melody to twist through all of the other sounds I want the listener to hear. You did a great job capturing a progressive glitchy beat with nice music intertwined. Kudos!
Sick huh? You're too kind! I guess this could've gone under glitch too, I never thought of that! Yeah I'm pretty proud of the melodies on this one. Thanks so much for your kind comments, you made me smile!
Dude, that bass is freakin' sick! Jes-US! nice effin work! sweet atmosphere in the beginning...what?..where'd it go?... You NEED to finish this, it is freakin tha tits! hit me up when you do.

BTW I did that castlevania track. I did it to Simon's Quest, and threw in some vampire vocal samples. I'd like to know what you think about it.
Groovy, I like the beat on this one alot. The synth line is driving and has progressive modding. Nice short cut 808. I like how progressive the overall feel of this track is. has a nice atmosphere in the middle. great track friend!
Very Very cool bass riff. I like the feel of this song The gated synth takes me back to the day! Wanna pop a few tabs sit back and watch the light show. Nice!

I like the rasta vocals. This track reminds me of skinny puupy's album Fixer. Mainly beacause of the drum patterns. I like the flow of the song I always have something new to listen to. sweet track, Friend!!
Faved. the melodies you come up with are epic. Very eastern feel on this one. I like it. I def like how you have been playing with the rate on your new stuff. It def kicks you up a notch, gives your music more dynamic and sweet. Very good work with this one... lol that bass slaps you in the face, awesome Reason tweakery my friend!
ahah thanx.. lol right people tell me i should do movie scores..haha def some legendary melodies !!.. yea 4 sure tho i keep learning more n more so try n use it right away.. still cant get that malstrom to do wat i want.. even tho im gettin better wit it !! thanx for the great review tho much appriciate u takin time to review.. always a pleasure !! thanx for the advice again !!
Very Very nice Janglz! Really diggin the vibe on this one...that crunched rythmic sound is really cool, sounds like a steel drum through dist. Nice atmosphere..I like the cut off pattern on the bass filter mod. I have been doing a few songs with that filter pattern and I think it gives the dubstep a more mechanical sound, which is what I.m going for when I make a dubstep track.
Sweet track dude! in the master I would kik up the low end a little more, or put a low sub sine oscillation with the same notes to give it more kick on the bass, but it isnt needed. very atmospheric track that induces paranoia my friend!
Cheers!

I actualy dont use the mastering suite in Reason. I actually have My template set up to load my mixer without it. the only thing, Compression wise I use thats built into reason is the 8 band parallel compression effect..( If you right click on the hardware interface >creat effect>8 band parallel compression. Try it, It makes whatevr you got sound freakin amazing).
Then I adjust the master output level to where the VO - or perceived loudness I guess - is toppin off at 0 decibals (nothing but green on the peak indicators). The lower the mix level is the more room you have for compression in the master.
After I get the mix sounding the way I want it, I export to .wav and then import into wavlab where I do my mastering. I ususally compress the crap outta my clubbier stuff, you know get that shot bangin'. I hope this helps.
BTW if you just eq in Reason with the M-class EQ chained to your hardware interface, you will not have to worry about to much eq work n the master, then all yo have to do is add punch and compression, maybe some slight eq tweaks, but nothing major.
actually that sound is a Congo going threw a 3 inch spkr patch on the Scream unit... Offcoarse tweaked to how i like it.. but i automate the scream to go on n off !!.. this one is still actually not finished .. feel like the track can use another synth!..
Yea First time i tried that wit the bass !! badically random note n rates till i got something that sounded musical !! trial n Error basically !!
yea im still new to mastering myself.. i actually finished school for audio engineering but nothing special had a class on mastering so i know how its supposed to work... sadly enough tho i never take the time to really sit down n master a song of my own !! always have ideas n wanna just move on !!.. but iv decided im ganna pick a bunch of my fav production n Master them !! but who knows wen i find the Time...
so for now im using just the reason mastering !! but i do have a multi band compression plug in on protools.. dont know if its any good yet havent had the time to try it !!
Ohh yea u know me ... i always got them dark tracks lol... scary movie in my head .hha
questioin .. wen using that mastering combinator thing on reason.. n wen making a dub step track.. do u initialze it or pick a patch... to me it seems the hip hop patch works the best for dubstep.. n then i adjust it from there
+++++++++++++ Reply++++++++++++
iight.. definitly ganna try it out ..thanx for all the help... n 4 takin time to review !! ill try to keep them coming !! .lol
hey thanks for the review man! the stutter/gating is done with the gross beat plug in on the master track... the original has always been one of my favorite song, but I also felt like there were things that could make it better... I think I accomplished my goal here :)
this is pretty sick Chriss! I like the bass mods a lot. The piece fits the vocals in perfectly. Loving the bendy synths. kind of 50's sci-fi. Sweet song!
Man, What an awesome intro. I really like what you did with my loop. Dude you are sick, got some serious skills. You are able to achieve mean bass. This sounds amazing!
Freakin Sick! I dont even know how to describe how badazz this is. Really likt the 808 sub in there. Sick percussions. When it gears up it makes feel like I need to prepare myself for a fight.
Sick bass tones! Man. Chriss... this is tight as hell!
I am big fan of the mello dubstep. The change is sick, very nice transition. Really diggin the synth work on this one. I really like the way you blend mids highs and bass into a thick field of sonic sweetness. then the bass slides right through the rest of the composition with ease. Great track, Friend! Faved
This is sick, Cash. I really like east coast style. Very cool jam. I like the beat a lot, has the old skool feel but sounds fresh! and the emcee's all have skills.
Are you playing the keys in this one? If so, Kudos. Either way the progression is very nice...melancholy. I can def hear the emotion this took out you during the process. The chilled percussion brings it to life without feeling forced. Tom, you got some skills, man.
Much Props and I am sorry for the loss that inspired such an awesome journey through Sadness and Apathy.
Thanks alot for your kind review on that track. Its a calm track, my way to bring the "inside out" so to say. Keys in all the tracks are selfmade. Piano is my passion so i mostly play my tracks as "piano versions" first and then, after a while, try to feel inside the song how it could possibly sound as dance, trance or whatever.
Sadness and Apathy are - in my humble opinion - the strongest emotions leading me to new inspirations. Melodies are deeper then.
