How long did it take you to create this and then that hook is just so brilliant! I'm just a Creator. Your a true real artist. To produce it all is truely amazing! As a kid I used to think that artist did it all from the beat to riding the vocals and singing it as a kid and when I grew up and I found that's not true. Well you've proved me wrong! so the vocals are from Producer loops they have the song kits with them but i dont use them ah the fx noise that comes in 3/4 in is a loop from the pack. but they have like a 10 second midi file so i put the whole vocal on the track then i get the midi file and make a tune out it and because the vocal is already there its easier to get it to fit to the music as you are making the music while playing the vocals oh and the pack gives you the bpm and the key its in so that makes it a bit easier too, and the rest is trial and error till it fits. I hope that helps a bit. last year i hit the big 50. again cheers for the listen and question its not often i actually get asked a question lol.
Thanks bro. I knew that some people would feel it was slow, which of course it was compared to the way it was originally. But I made 2 separate mixes, one at 65/130 bpm and the other at 80/160 bpm, and I just didn't like it as much at the faster speed, which I know sounds crazy. It's just the way my brain is wired, it wants to groove at a slower bpm than a lot of others do. I may add the faster version as well just so they can be compared

I've actually made tutorial videos on sample chopping, which I'm pretty good at. In this particular instance, I wanted the sample unaltered except for the BPM not only for the challenge of having to find a way to use it in new ways but also be slightly restricted by it. I do make stuff like this all the time, I just don't post 90% of it.
If I decide to take it in another directio, I'll likely chop the main sample Different than the original.
The first drop in this track does have some examples of the melody in my shopping skills though I don't know if you noticed that part or not. Appreciate the feedback my friend

I like it I just think the first one was a little bit better and I think it needs to be my perspective if you're going to run with the mysterious and like suspense feeling maybe up and up a notch but that's just me because I'm crazy I like it a little bit louder or I should say with more of a ruckus. But damn homie I know for sure you ain't no amateur or beginner your quality always come out good great mastering

I've been producing music since 2014, and I was a performing musician and DJ for years before that. All that experience combined has brought me to where I am now, and it's been quite the journey.
