You know what you're doing. The part I think would make you stand out is your mixing and your transitions. I feel like you mix your beats too loud and your transition from verse to hook and hook to verse should be recognizable. Not bad at all, just some advice from a fellow Hip-Hop Producer. Turn UP!
Well, This had the potential to be a smash in my opinion. It started like a hit. The intro cut and the sample cut is ok for the first 20 seconds or so, then it started getting repetitive. I say you do maybe 1-2 more sample cuts and add some percussion. Just an opinion. This isn't negative feedback, just a beat that I started off very impressed with and ended up disappointed. I know you can go harder. Don't restrict yourself. Just make music sir. You may be surprised.
sup felix, yeah i pretty much felt the same way about it as you. the artists that im workin with on it didnt like some of the additional cuts in it that i put in it that somewhat completed it in my eyes. But now that i hear it from someone else outside my own circle im definetely going to try to add a few more just to round it out. thanks for the feedback too, i take it all as constructiive critism, so dont feel bad about being straight up with me. ima work this out, then shoot you the song just for more feedback if thats cool. anyway though thanks for taking the time to listen and comment, it all helps me grow. peace and big ups
Good mix. I like the background drums. They really give an island/club sound to the track. My only real negative is the same as what others have said... The chords and the accordion lead are both way too familiar. If you catch a vibe from a song you really like, don't mimic what you heard, create something new. Overall nice project though. Keep it up.

Thanks. Yeah, I guess my stuff is worth money but I haven't tried selling anything yet. I'll probably just end up allowing free downloads of the proper albums I'm in the process of compiling (about 7 right now, many more to follow of older stuff after that).
Hadn't hear faded before for 'stoned' but am sure there are loads and loads of words for it in almost every language on earth.

After a 2nd and 3rd listen, the mix on the vocals is actually good. I think it's the filter sound that bothers me. just an opinion though. I still like it. Very creative song. I just leave the kind of comments I would like to hear. I have accepted that my music isn't "perfect" (perfect isn't possible), but if you truly try to make it "perfect", you'll be surprised at what you produce. I wouldn't want to leave a comment that only praised your work when I know that you do this for more than a hobby. I want people to make me think about my mixes and how to improve them and I want to make others think the same. Just spilling out a little to you so that you understand my angle. Let's be great!
