on Phantom - Ft Charvox by Malkontent42
I like the melody. Are you trying something different with this one? Experimenting isnt just a good thing, its key to growth and evolution. Just messing around with whatever comes to mind can tell you alot about what your musical instincts are, and what your strengths are. Or could be. I like Charvox, but I would've went a different route, like maybe some faint ethnic chanting, and maybe add a refrain with another verse/vocal

Thank you man! And yeah, I agree that experimenting is key to everything. I make sure that I learn at least one new thing every time I sit down to make something, even if it's small. In this case it was how to add that radio-type distortion to voices. This whole art form is so fascinating to me and I love how collaborative this process is, all the way down, from the loop makers to the singers, to the producers and samplers and beyond. And I love the fact that the two of us can hear the same acapella or loop and go in completely opposite directions with it, and both are completely valid as long as they have heart.

on Must I Network with You by Kayos2
Lol. Well, your trademark sense of humor could power an entire album all by itself. It definitely enhances your already considerable talent. BTW im in the process of trying to build a small business myself, all by myself. Id be happy with an employee or 2 - even terrible ones. Lol. Love this, you're ability to speak to the common folk, who would be the average listeners of your music, is done with skill and grace. And familiarity. I feel that you'd be just as at home hanging out and cutting up with The Monzder Squadd or getting your hands dirty on some blue collar job somewhere as you would be in a hip coffee shop or a designer clothing store. Thats a serious credit to your skill to be able to ingratiate yourself with a listener while presenting common and relatable ground. Hearing you sing always feels like a visit from an old friend. It IS a visit from an old friend at this point, for me. Anyway, I've been working on some more samples for you guys. And The Loserz Club album is ready to go, so Ill be sending a link for it

What kind feedback - thank you so much. Kayos2 loves to tell relatable stories from everyday life, to make people feel better about it, all. I have been networking A LOT after rebranding my mentoring business. If I am not networking, I am at an event, these days, lol. Needs must. You cannot be in a cupboard and expect someone to find you randomly! Good luck with your business Aaaron - Oli and I know how intelligent you are and your intuitive flair marbles through your music and writing,. We look forward to listening to and working with your samples when we come up for air (ish) mid July. Big Love ;)

on Track 08 - Mistakes by Gixxie
I know quite alot about music theory, but that is mostly due to my background as a musician - Ive played guitar for over 20 years, and piano very near that. When I started learning how to play songs, my brain started to connect alot of dots, even before I ever approached memorizing chords. And thats something a guitarist never forgets. Any decent guitar player will tell u that u will never forget those initial chords once u learn em - Amin, Emin, E Major, Cmin, Dmin, Gmin, F sharp and B major are the ones I'll never ever forget, no matter how long its been since I picked up a guitar. Until last December, I hadn't really played much guitar in close to 10 years. I was once the rhythm guitarist and composer for a Nu Metal band called Dissencion that was mildly successful from around 2003 to 2010, so incorporating that type of music and energy into what Im doing now, especially with The Monzder Squadd, has been the most fun and rewarding music Ive done in a long time. Anyway, Idk why I gave u an impromptu Pnnywze History lesson, but I will say that Ive been thinking hard about ways that I can help other producers, and Im also trying to get my sound design company off the ground, so Im looking at creating a website. It's going to take awhile, though. In the meantime, I'll be creating some tutorials and beat creation step-by-steps soon. And Ive got some loops uploaded here that I created specifically for Looperman, if u want to check those out. I'll email u the chart I made for relative keys, as well
Gixxie
Gixxie replied 11th Jun 2026 - 2 months ago
Thanks for the history lesson haha... I didn't know u had that kind of background but it puts everything into perspective now. Mastering the guitar is really hard, respect man... guitarists ahould be treayed like royalty in my opinion, it takes so much practice to master it, people don't realize this.

When you do a live guitar solo over a beat it makes the beat sound expensive and classy, it's like a track isn't finished if there is no guitar on it haha..

I bought my first electric guitar last year, a Squire stratocaster but haven't really played it much due to being too busy.

I'll check out some of ur loops but I'm more interested in that Nu Metal band u used to play in amd how it sounded

on Track 08 - Mistakes by Gixxie
Man im still making tracks out of phrases and melodies I recorded on a Sony digital recorder 13 or 14 years ago. Make sure to always take time to plant those seeds. Guitar I put together for a band a lifetime ago has a proven extremely useful. Im glad you kept this around and finished it. Its well done, and its also a personal milestone for u
Gixxie
Gixxie replied 11th Jun 2026 - 2 months ago
It's strange how your mind knew back then when you created the sketches that they were worth saving/recording! In the long run it pays off.

Are you strong in music theory or do you do everything by ear??

Yeah for me it's BIG milestone in production, song arrangement, mixing and engineering; almost the whole process, except music theory I need to learn more about scales and chords.

I couldnt help but laugh when i saw the name Lil Woodie Wood, but that's not to say they aren't talented. If I renamed myself Big ##### #####, I couldn't expect many people to take that, or me, very serious. Lol. I might have to do a secret album using that name now....lol.
I enjoyed the song, Mr. Wood's vocals worked well here.

yeah it had fun in it, i'd had good feedback about my rappin and this was really the start for me, writing good rhymes and bars, Star Walkin proved to me I could do it, but my tracks, still tongue in cheek and not with the belief I bring now, as for a diss track though I thought it was savage myself, lol

on Fake Friends by Dripig
Well, you just graduated, so I'll wait until the end of the year until I tell you about someone you'll meet eventually - Mr.Life. You see, Mr.Life is an indifferent #####. He don't care about the petty stuff most humans do - who is richer, who is from where, what color or race a person is, he doesn't care about any of that. He loves surprising unprepared young people with an uppercut they don't see coming.....but enjoy yourself and don't worry about that POS. For awhile, at least.
Ok, so anyway - Im a bit surprised by the genres you like and work with, being as young as you are. Where are you from, and how'd you get exposed to this type of music? And also, making music in general? I've followed your progress for awhile, and Im genuinely curious. Music happened in a very specific way for me.
What are your plans for music, now and in the future?
Also, it's been a pleasure watching you learn and grow and take root - it's hard to beat the feeling of hearing that master of your first really good track. And the 2nd one. And 3rd. And so on lol. Music is such a rewarding way to express yourself, and you can always count on that.
Congratulations on Graduating, all that studying and homework and tests and they give u a fancy piece of paper that basically says "I am kinda Smart" lol. Its ok, I've got one too.
Dripig
Dripig replied 29th May 2026 - 2 months ago
Uhh, gotta answer your questions.
I met this genre while listening to DnB stuff, literally the first track i heard is "Whatever" By Sewerslvt, and I hella enjoyed it.
After some bizzare inspection of this cool, bizzare genre, i decided to make a track with same style, genre and so on (and it turned out bad as hell). I've been practicing a lot, just to create a really decent breakcore, and after that, i uploaded my very first breakcore onto this site (Looperman) called "Final Destination", and i really liked it back then, and nowadays, I'm experimenting with other genres.
Also, since u asked me about how i started making music in general, well... Pure inspiation, (Back then i tried to make music similar to Geoxor, and i watched TONS of youtube tutorials, and i couldn't make some great asf music back then)
My plans for music now and in the future? Hm...
I guess I'll continue learning my fav DAW (some tricks and mixing), and maybe, just maybe, become at least a lil bit fam in the future. (Im not asking for a lot.)
Also, U gave me a lil motivation on makin music!
Ghm, I should stop yapping a lot. (And yeah, Mr.life is a real #####)

on Fading Light by Snelkku
I really don't hear house type music blended with synthwave type sounds very often - I'm straining to remember a specific occasion, but Coming up short. So you've got a pretty original sounding track. I'm not a fan of GarageBand, but I've heard some pretty good compositions done with it, and now I can add this one to the list. We'll done.

on I Feel so Lost by crucethus
The title of your song had me thinking about a poem I wrote like 10 years ago that I probably would've never remembered otherwise, so Thank You for that! Acid is a genre that I'm not as familiar with as other House and EDM stuff. I've heard some stuff I liked over the years, but it was always on random Playlists and I could never figure out Who the artists were. This one i like too. Its a little different than what I expected, but thats not a bad thing. Some of the elements I hear are almost trance-like in some respects. Really well done.
crucethus
crucethus replied 28th May 2026 - 2 months ago
Hey, Mate, so you are spot on when you say that it seems "trance-like". Acid House is the forerunner of trance music. I really experimented with reverse leads and obviously TR-808 and 909 sounds.

Well, both Cinematic AND Dark Blues it is. How'd you make that work? Lol. Nice one, bro. I also like that you have this 'No AI, No Samples, Real Art' on your uploads. You already know how I feel about this A.I. bullshyt. Oh, and I'm ready to do that collab when you are.
Flat2Forge
Flat2Forge replied 29th May 2026 - 2 months ago
Thanks a lot, bro! Really appreciate you noticing the mix of Cinematic and Dark Bluesit took some real hours in the DAW to get that dark, guitar mood right, so hearing that from you means a lot.

This song has soul. I've worked hard on the chord progression, changing them every 8-16 bars to tell a story and give it that cinematic feel. The melody and counter-melody follow the chord notes and the minor blues scale. The sound selection was the easiest part; I only use two guitars and a synth pad. The secret sauce is the guitar amps and pedals.

And hell yeah, keeping it 100% human is the only way for me. No prompts, no algorithm shortcuts.

Im totally down for that collab, brother! Let's definitely cook something crazy soon
