I'm at a loss for words when it comes to describing your range, Kay. Itd be easier to describe what you can't do, as itd be a much shorter list. Sometimes I'll hear a song somewhere, even a melody I'm putting together, and I'll hear your voice gliding over it as smooth as butter. That's a very good thing. And being paired with Ollie must've been fate. I'm grateful I crossed paths with u guys, I've learned a lot from so many here, especially about how and where inspiration comes, and trying to be more versatile. Thank u for sharing and taking me along on your journeys, it's a privilege.

This is a straight up classic EDM track in every sense, with touches of just about every EDM sub-genre as well. There is no mistaking the DNA deep in the roots of it. Although it's not the genre I do my best work in, I learned to have a healthy respect for those that do work with EDM, Future Bass, Glitch, Trance, Dub and Riddim, Garage, the gazillion offshoots of House....its not an easy genre to become good at, especially if you're making your own samples. This one is especially well done, with the catchiest chords I've heard in a while

I see that Danke already said what I was thinking - there's a Tarantino vibe to this one. It never crosses my mind that I'm going to dislike something u upload - its impossible for me. I've grown so very fond of u over the last few years, and I'm proud of the special relationship that has grown between us. My girlfriend and even my entire group have all become your fans :)

This one wields a special kind of emotional power from the beginning notes until the very end....brilliant. If I could teach a class on emotions and their connection to music (and I wish I could, believe me) I don't think i could find a better example of the points I'd be teaching about. Just well freakn done dude.

Wanted to give this another listen after the guys left. We had a strong vocal session from everyone, but I couldnt appreciate this fully the first time cuz we were so wound up. Now its unwind time. I have to agree with my brother (for once lol) and say that i hear a bit of Floyd here. The GREAT Floyd albums i listened to when i was younger that took me on journeys I wish Id never come back from. Thank you for this one, Glenn.

Gave it a second listen before i cut out for the night (morning) And I was whoa. Now Im kinda intimidated lol. Theres a certain energy here, present in all of the rock-ish songs you have been doing recently, but this one has it the most. its kind of a "Form an all female Rock Band and take over the planet" vibe. I like it. Lol. Are we in danger of that vibe coming true, Kay?

I can hear a blues scale at work here, the tones work together well. nice sound selection and also some nice vocals. If this an experimental type track for u, id aim for something similar and see wat happens. id be down to hear it.

Heres another track that reminds me strongly of the raves and glo up parties once attended, only this one is even more interesting than most. well done.

Whoa, when it started it sounded like the theme from Shaft or a 70's movie starring Pam Grier. That's not inherently a bad thing, especially since this becomes something else entirely over the course of its 3 mins. Music and the creativity I often find on display here is a huge reason why I stuck around when I first came to LM.... Tho getting to know many of the talented people here is the biggest reason. I'm not sure where u might go with this, but ill check it out again if u continue work on it. I like the creativity and personality in this - I can hear the groundwork being laid for something even better, if u continue to work toward it, and discover more ways to turn your ideas into music. My best advice for u is to find other like minded people to work with - sometimes that idea doesn't seem to be helpful, but working with the right people can create magic, and that is a beautiful thing. I know of 2 or 3 creative minds here on LM that would be perfect partners for u, based on what I've heard here.

Another bit of advice - have a positive feeling about what u create - I found your ending unique and could even be a signature thing for u, and have many of your songs have unorthodox endings. Try and see it this way - It's your music and it's a privilege for others to experience it. I hope something I've said here helps u in some way. Stay inspired, man. - Pnnywze

M.V.P.s = most valuable producers

Its extremely hard to use loops, especially loops that are made by different people with different software etc., since all that must be adjusted to match each other as well as what ur putting together urself. All kinds of variables make it a difficult thing to pull off. Idk what loops u used Vs. What u did urself, and that is compliment on its own bcuz of everything I mentioned. Now that you've got the melodic elements and the framework of the track complete, Id go back and add a few more flourishes, and possibly a drop and/or change up, maybe near the end. This is the first time I've heard ur work, if I hear more I'd have a better idea of what ur style is, and what ur signature (s) are, or might be. I often collaborate with other LM members, and there's a lot of ways to do that. If ur interested, shoot me an email.

My brother is considering using this one for another freestyle, coming in the next week or two. Idk if u heard the first one he did over one of ur other beats, but its dope

This has a southern American Rock feel to it, like V.Driver said I can hear Bob Seger, but perhaps even later Allman Brothers or the newest Generation of Lynrd Skynyrd, which is very different than old skynrd, but still very southern and distinct. And of course, I hear your own distinct sound, as well. And that's just the connections my brain could make - it's also it's own kinda thing. IDK about country, at least in the modern American sense, most of it is mind numbing and (to me) mildly infuriating. This is none of those things, thank the Pantheon of Music Deities lol. I'll be glad to hear how this one progresses

That last ingredient - imagination - is first in importance, imo. And not everyone has it, I'm afraid. Don't worry, u have it in spades, my friend. U also seem to be spreading ur wings a bit, so to speak, and experimenting a little bit. That's often how greatness happens, so keep the gas pedal down, brother. Lovely composition.

Im always envious when u list ur instruments lol. Ibanez gear is underrated, in my opinion. I cant say the same for your work, my friend. It gets heaps of praise, aned it deserves every bit of it. This one is the very definition of chill, and sometimes, its just what a person needs, myself included. Most people are surprised when theyre around when I catch up on my listening - I listen to alot of different stuff, inspiration comes from everything. For me, anyway. I pity those who box themselves in. Thanks for sharing your work, man. It only benefits us all.

Jeez man, Im so behind in my listening (along with everything else lol) We had 2 back to back blizzards followed by an ice storm - winter wonderland my ass, more like winter hellscape lol. and bah humb- oh dam Xmas is over. Well, Ill just growl in general then. Or I would, but its hard to be upset about anything wile Im listening to this one. Honestly my only critique is that it's too short lol. You just dont hear music like this much anymore, and you have to hunt real hard for it, even then. There's a little bit of Dub and Reggae in there, a bit of ska-era Sublime, a bit of last-call hour live band, and plenty of ingredients that are your own. You've come a long way, bro. You should be proud, I feel like what youve got going on now is what u should focus on the most - If u were aiming for something, then u hit it dead in the forehead. Are u all never NOT on fire? lol. Really tho, you have proven your versatility many times, its impossible to guess what kind of song youll do next. I mean that, too. lol But I mean it in the best way. Thats why u guys are among my favorites, I always look to see if youve uploaded anything when i finally get a minute to listen to some stuff.
