Thanx dude nuff respect! I suppose by now u know how I feel about vox hee hee...I treat vox the same way I would treat any other instrument in the mix; if it sounds good f@#k it. This was a particularly hard song to record because of the subject matter, and also because I was completely WASTED for the vocal track. And the funny thing is this, I was even more wasted for THIS vocal track than I was for the Blast Aria track and THIS is more coherent! Go figure...
Oh, how sweet you play. Somewhere, in the back of my mind Al diMeola lingers – and you've got that warm sound and clean notes. (I myself often play distorted, it's more forgiving...) In short, excellent work. Fav. Again.
Thank you for the awesome complement, even to be mentioned in the same sentence as AD is more than expected and appreciated!I agree with the distortion comment...if only you knew how many times I played some of the parts to get it right.I don't know much about recording but I have learned the miracle of undo/redo and punch in/out and it still took me hours because as you know if your in the middle of a bended note or seamless passage and screw up even those tools can't always help you out,I just have to start over, and I did.I almost went with a Santana sound just so I could use distortion and slide into my comfort zone, but reviews like yours make the extra effort worth it.
Thanks again
thanks for the feedback! ive been making melodies on my guitar and garageband for a while now but its only recently i've been trying to understand the producing side of things more, and working on making a final copy of tracks, so thanks for the feedback its very inspiring! i'll check out some of your stuff too :)
Thank u so much!It breaks my heart everyday and even working on this track is so painful-but it brings me some comfort to know that there are people out there that understand the pain behind it.Thanks for your very thoughtful review.
Hey, I like this track, nice chord progressions and flow in the track.
I think the track would benefit from checking pan and volume, I the drums feels to much in front and pushes the other instruments back.
Having said that, I like this tune and I admit, your description of it. Thanks, man.

Hey Thanks Kikajon for the insight on this track, I have to remix it again for the 100th time, it was new ground for me in a few areas and hit some sound inbalances in a few places! theres allways a challage somwhere in recording! one of teh reason I enjoy it so much!
Wow, you're doing stuff with your guitar I've never heard before. I used to have a lot of Electroharmonix stuff, including big muff pi and hot tubes. I also had a morley volume pedal. What i didn't have then, or now, is your imagination.
This piece is absolutely amazing and I thank you for sharing it.

Thanks for those very kind words. This was a baby I had to nurture.Every thing was a first, learning to do simple looping which shoulda been easy cause they were already made,to mixing...nothing but my ears and volume knobs to work with(I spent a day tweaking knobs, thank you for the mix comment). If all I had to do was play guitar...But the kind reviews are the payoff, and I have the song.Did I say the recorder was new also.Hey,I'm tired, can somebody just send me a track I can play to?
Really,it was fun.

I'm thrilled. This track is actually an instant fav.
But I have to agree with wayne, the track could do with some level adjusting and maybe some eq on the guitar that sounds a little too muffled. (Only slight reduction on the bottom end and adding very little on the top). legend killer track!
Gotta play it again.
I really like this. Catchy is the word.
The only thing that I'm not to crazy 'bout is the autotune sound on the vocals – but heeeey, it's a good song, man.

Hi French kid.
When I listen to this tune I get this urge to play guitar, good music does that to me.
Can't wait to hear the finished piece and how you will arrange the tune. (Probably a bit differnt than I.)
Again a fantastic song.
Cheers

I love how the song changes character 1:35 in. Some vocals would be interresting as someone suggested earlier.
If I may add another suggestion. Add another guitar track on the opposite side or pan the dist guitar a bit more towards the middle. Having said that, this is a great track. Good job!

Har lyssnat på den en hel del redan. Bra låtval, arrangemang, bra körer, riktigt bra lead vox mix – kort sagt, riktigt, riktigt bra.
Excellent work, son!

You've got a good start here. I think it would become even better if you added an other pattern along with jazzy guitar or sax. Smooth is the word.
