a TAE bootleg treasure. stormy funny wise friday, brother the words you throw down when in you're the moment never fail to connect - taking the last shuttle for atlantis - 1000 favs
Thank you Michael, I really appreciate your encouraging words. When I adlib I'm totally focusing on trying to hit the notes, the words comes without thinking and sometimes they work ok. I think I've found my way of writing lyrics. ;)
Thanks again for the nice words, the mean much to me.

listened to the DFI 15Jul2011 as a set - dunno yr intent but to this listener it is an amazing album - i listened from top to bottom so the impression is of a distant 'object' approaching with a great culminating impact. deep listening fav applies to all - and even if you didn't mean these tracks to be heard in series, lemme tell you they work - an intense and beautiful set

You're too kind, MStokes. Thank you very, very much for the listen and the insightful review. I didn't intend this to be heard as an album or EP, but "Waves Of Grey", "Wilderness" and "Withdrawal" (just noticed all start with a W) were all definitely cut from the same cloth with the intention of invoking a certain mood and sustaining it. So yeah, I'd think of these 3 as an EP. I suppose 1992 fits in as well...a bit of brightness after all the grey. But "The Dentist"? Hmmm, actually yeah I think you're right. It could be easily fit in as the the last track.
Well, if I ever do commercially release my music, I'm coming to you for help in sequencing my tracks. I'll give you 10% of my total sales earnings, which will make you around 2 dollars richer. It's a deal you just can't refuse.
the lyrics took me to the catholic confession ritual, where one is placed in a small divided space spilling secrets to a screened-off personage who may either absolve or condemn you - it's scary sh^t, tried it a couple of times

together with sins - confessional and confrontational - great music - the gtr is perfect and the judicious doubled vox right right on - hail marys, brother
Thanks for the words of encouragement, Michael ~ I appreciate you taking the time to listen and review, bro.
You know, I always try to compose a track around a "hook" of some kind, something that sort of sticks in the mind of the listener, something that keeps coming back to them after the song is finished. If I accomplish that alone, then I'm a happy musician.
Elaine - this is such a light-footed, spicy, spirited recipe. A gift - moments of serious delight like this are our best shared experiences - true delight and respect, sister
this mix goes straight to the heart - love + respect brother = no one has a more human vision

the great, bleak, and damning lyrics are given so much added resonance by the music - the detail and nuance of the gtr makes another singer - and the backing vox are the best and critical to the track.
Now lead vox track - a re-recording of you cutting loose on that is needed and then this song goes where it needs to be.
Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. I did not understand what you tell me the lead voice (my English is limited). Send me an email and explain it a little better. In this song I've experimented with new mixes and I'm waiting to see which sounds best.
I have just got in from walking my dog Michael its where i get insperation from empty field land where i walk peace and quite and many dreams and thoughts run through little ole z's head and just hope i can share the feelings and you have recieved this one very well my friend
god bless you michael
All of this wonderful feedback makes me regret that I didn't start producing music that was free much sooner! thank you very much, that's a wonderful compliment
