intensely dramatic yet amazingly compact - you get one helluva lot of feeling and searching sounds in here with precision - what i'm trying to say is this is consummate craft that don't feel crafted - just great music, brother
echo Dubster - every time you seem to throw yrself off a cliff and holler all the way down - having fun alongside serious reflections - you are truly genuine - and your many guises make you even more so, my friend
deep and necessary - people look the other way cause they don't want to see their cities as concentration camps - so they build casino and pottery barns and convention enclaves - this is way beyond dope, it's documentary - rueful respect.
an open-ended journey on this day 2012-06-05 - the Transit of Venus occurs today and won't happen again until 2117 - this is a perfect song for something celestial that only happens once in our lifetime - a beauty
a bouquet of thorns and a bed of nails - it's so nice to see people wrapped up in a sack with a viper together - love, o venomous love - scarifying and beatific.
life-affirming, right on
Allen, my friend - I truly hope you don't find this remark profane, but this is as close to going to church as i get - what i mean is that there is belief in something better here - as Carlos Santana once put it, Love Devotion and Surrender - sublime work by all involved - it is so good to see ya amigo!
Hey Mike!
I love your comments.
I do associate "inspiration" with my personal belief in the power of music and that I do feel there is a higher power that created this emotion we feel towards music...it can't just be about beats all the time..no offense,I love beats but in this context it's about the combined effort to capture a feeling and share it with others and I'm so happy that I've met so many artists here that understand the importance of emotion in a song..it's what I think we all want to achieve whether it's happy, sad or somewhere in between.
And I also feel that "beats" do indeed create emotion(yes I have listened to Maroon Five and GaGa)
So I get it...but only when appropriate as they do it.
We'll meet again Mr. Stokes...Collabs is what I'm all about!
hello Raphael.
an awesome setting for the versatile Ms Edwards - those leads are burning and so well-integrated it's music held up to the sun - much respect, brother - glad to meet ya
ok i am completely captivated by this track - but that tiny bird and chainsaw interlude in the middle really just goes to show how rewarding this is for attentive listening - exquisite dynamic and purposeful music, my friend
dunno how this got past me - ah that master of mystical realism is well-represented!
time of the gypsies remains my fave but all them wild incursions are cinema at its best.
terrific, my friend!
I love maradona, then this interview through the sports metaphor speaks of a social evil, which is the gap between north and south of Italy
thanks x your beautiful comment and the time that thou hast dedicated
