What a fun track, love the build up and throw down at 2:13 cool bass synthline, I wonder if this would be a little repetitive though if you're not careful when adding on. Great start! - DF
Yeah I know what you mean I really like the bass line but its hard to get everything to mix clean without sounding repetitive so I'm not sure what to do. :/ lol
Great quality, love the measured restraint on the buildups then BLAM hits ya like a smacky pill. Wonderful production, volumes sounded fine to me. - DF
Had to Fav this one (along with a couple others)... killer work on this. Love the break at 2:00 makes me feel underwater or something. Cool bassline at 3:45, solid production. Take care. - DF
Nice track though in keeping with spirit of this site as forum for constructive reviews -- and I've noticed you've received lots of support on this, not trying to take away from this at all -- I'd only mention that for me (!) the timing of the "you grip me so tight" samples is a bit distracting. Maybe that was what you were going for, so not passing judgement, just pointing out something that stuck with me. Great beat, guitar riff choice and overall flow though. Tx for sharing ;) - DF
What a fun song! I mean the beginning is a bit uncomfortable as it made me feel like I was breathing in and out of one of those huge rubber balloon balls (touche'). Then the beat kicks in and the playful synth or whatever starts bouncing around. Awesome stuff. - DF
good..than you experienced the exact reaction i was going for! ;)
lol im glad you liked it. cheers for the listen and the review. i really appreciate it!
Ah yeah.... smooth groove for sure. There's something special in a solid slow beat and some piano chords, you know? I got a couple tracks that have a similar feel, so I feel you on this ;) Check out Ariel's Song and Baby Makin' Jamz if it suits you. Take care. - DF
Nice work. I can tell with your almost 50 tracks (!!!) that your love and skills spill into many genres, I can relate - variety is the spice of life. It would honor me if you could listen to a few of my tunes and give me your feedback, I'm just a beginner and am anxious to grow. Peace and love. - DF
lol cheers for the review. truth be told, this is only a miniscule portion of the over 1000 finished tracks i have...just so happens that most of them are utter shyte, so i dont bother wasting my looperfam's time with posting them. i do enjoy challenging myself when it comes to composition, so im always trying out new genres.
i look forward to hearing your work, as well :).
thanks again for listening!
I agree, definitely pictured the newest breed of Scions cruising down a funky boulevard. I like how you brought in the at bass at 0:15 and the dark synth at 0:30, you married them nicely. Nice job with the timely breaks too. - DF
lol a SCION commercial! thats EXACTLY what it is, youre right...
cheers for the review. i gotta work on this one a bit more, but theres something about it already that i really dig.
thanks for the listen!
Probably should be listed as ambient but could also be house or glitch maybe? ... in any case this is a nice track. Love the drumbeat, cool guitar and synth effects and use of filters. - DF
I'd say you have strong elements of hardcore but even some hip hop during the asian break in the middle.... this piece definitely kept me guessing to say the least which made it interesting and fun. Thanks for uploading.
thanks. Me and KooLKYLE have 2 tracks freshly uploaded, you must check those out for a harder feel on things. "Are You Ready!" and "Kik Your Legs", thanks again for the review!
Awesome sound... I love when genres intertwine and have always appreciated how hip hop and drum n bass, at their core, play off each other so well. Nice production. I love your other DnB tracks by the way, you have quite a talent and give folks like me some inspiration. - DF
I like the disparateness of the fast beat and slower paced flute melody. Def has a jungle quality to it. Wondering though why the end is so abrupt... - DF
OK, so I won't fill up your inbox with reviews... I promise. Solid track, got that spooky vibe to it that I think mixes so well with DnB. Another one to download, thanks. - DF
I'm typically not into this happy hardcore genre but this is really catchy. I have some recommendations if you care, just let me know. Keep it up! - DF
