on Surprise Attack by LarzCreative
chilled dnb is where its at. The string section in this is bad ass.
Maybe add a variation to the beat and chop up the breaks some more.
A few fxs here and there would add an extra layer of sound.
awesome vibes bro!@!

We should collab sometime if you like making ambient drum & bass.

intro is great. Nice drop to the beat. Reminds me of an Optical tune. Love the bass manipulations and shuffle between beats. I was hoping for a couple more breaks into a more twisted bass layer added on towards the end but its a solid track other than that.
Big ups Bro!

My plan when making the track was to avoid complex basslines and focus more on the percussion and track structure, thus no twisted bass layer.

Glad you found the track enjoyable, though. :3

great intro sets up perfectly.

nice drums. such bad ass shuffling. That melody is to sick. Wobble Wobble!!

I think the bass needs a little more sub.
Did you layer the bass?
the bass swells add a great element to this.

I love it very aggressive sounding but yet very mellowed out
fucking HUGE UPS bro!!

Thanks for the awesome review man! It's been a long time since i've seen you around!
The only reason why I have a hard time with putting forward the sub bass is because i use headphones, i know it sounds like a poor excuse but the speakers I have help a ton! 12' woofers are good for that ;)
No I didn't layer the bass, I actually don't know how to do that let alone know what it means lol
But... thank you for your show of appreciation! lol
Coming from a guy that has his own album, it's a great privilege to receive a comment from you such as this!
So thank you again

I think it gets a little muddy around 3:10.

A great melodic feel...im a sucker for melodic dnb.

The drums sit phat in the mix.
I was hoping for a little more drum shuffling but its all good.

sweet track bro.

Thanks for listening Vex. I love the melodic stuff too as I find it adds a new dimension to DNB that can sometimes be missing. I'm going to check some of your stuff out in a sec. Thanks again & take squeezy bro.

hehe i wouldnt call it chilled dnb... more on the jungle side.
the drums sound hella good.
Nice breaks.
I was hoping for a little more change in the bass.

on GRAVE PAVER by Emissi0n
man that bongo rhythm is awesome.

As for the wobble bass i think the slow and fast work well together. Just need some additional layers to make it even sicker!
I think there is a little to much air on that snare.

for being work in progress i think you got some solid ideas going.
You just gotta let ur ears run wild now.

big ups bro!

the sweeps are awesome.
this reminds of a rap song.

I like you snare work sounds really awesome.

on Rough Rough by Gsusfrk
the violins help tie it together very well dont change it!!
Maybe EQ the violins down a bit

as far as arrangement..perfect!

I think that a simple break over this doesnt work so well. Keep the syncopated beats. Thats what makes this track Epic.
such a heavy groove i love it.

yea i get the same way about certain parts in my music.
just try not to listen to the track for a couple days and
come back and see if you feel the same way about that part as you
did before... usually helps

anywayz big UPS!!

Once it picks up such a heavy groove i love it!
not sure about the flow after the 2:00 break...Keep that heavy rhythm going then break to the no drum atmo sweep.

hehe I want more this clearly can be a full track.
I know you can do it!!

on Street ambience by shamus1
love the drums. Those ghost snares sit perfectly behind that snare. I was hoping for a little more bass
morphing just because this track had that vibe to it. And some more beat chops...hehe just cuz im a photek freak and love crazy programming. Other than that phat track shamus!!

Oh and ps to other people.. yeah phat basslines can take weeks upon weeks to program.

on Lets the bass roll (bonjovi kinda style) by tyrone2000
love that rolling bassline!! track sounded a little low. Make that kick stand out so u can fill it pumping with the bassline!! I dont like the wah melody it could have been a little better. Drums sound tight just pick up the kick some.

other then that great job!
