I've never heard a grandfather clock as a musical instrument but it sure works here! You know what man, as a Christian reggaetonero it even inspired me - to write something like how short time is and where you gonna be when it ends?!
Anyway the drumlines are excellent, the effects add a nice touch, the melody compliments it great and I'm sure this'll make a sweet song for your CD! Dios bendiga! B-)
OK, this may seem pretty partial 'cuz I really like bachata/reggaetón, but this beat rules! It can be pretty tricky combining reggaetón with other genres (though in my opinion that really makes it awesome). But you've done a great job mixing'em with this beat!
That's the kind of beat I'm hoping to make myself someday. As much as I like the classic dembows and fast pace of reggaetón music, that gets repetitive after awhile: so what really makes this beat stand out is its awesome background melody. I don't know what college you went to, but if nothing else you learned to create nice beats! :)
Thanks alot bruv! Yeah i go to sir george monoux college in London. That place is full of ethinic groups, so yeah i take in as much i can from culture =)
I see your new to Looperman, don't worry trust me you will pick up how to do them but it takes time.... No one cant bust out a sick beat in the first day trust.
I reckon in less than a year you will be able to produce a sick beat in which you will be proud of.
So just keep practicing and keep up making that positive music =)
This beat is just as sweet as the other one I reviewed. This beat has a lot in common with the first. The effects, synths, transitions etc. are sick! The dembows are pretty good too, but what I really liked about this beat was the transitions: smooth, but still fast-paced and consistent. Nice work!
This track is great: lots of effects, cool synths and interesting use of pauses where singers can add their own effects or comments. There could be a little more variety in the dembows (drum loops), but the intro is better than anything I've come up with yet. Overall this is a really cool beat.
