on Burnt up by DubTek
dubcore huh? well sounds good to me lol. Like the strings and beat is simple but bangin'. Could do with more low end but thats personal preference ;). What i do is back up my wobbles with a sub bass playing the same notes and link em up to the same channel just makes things a little more powerful. cheers

DubTek replied 10th Nov 2012 - 12 years ago
i generally do that too... however, the song requires a vocal... so i will admit that it is A. slightly repetative, and B. pretty unbalanced in a sonic sense...
if i ever get round to doing it proper i will do what you suggest. Its a technique i have used before and i completely agree that its something i should look at... and i will, thanks for the feed back dude.

on DAMN MONSTERS AND NATURE by roblobloman
hey man have you heard of Excision? because this tune reminded me a little of what he does. pretty twisted basses you got going on there, what was going through your head when you made em I don't want to know lol. cheers

on And The Beat Goes On Again by DJNeonator
I got what spiv said about video game vibes, I could imagine myself owning some zombies to this man! I would like to hear the basses hit a little harder but great work anyway. Good to see other young people on here...15 years old here. cheers

on emotional dreams by JINBLADE69
Synths sound way trancy, great feel to it. But that kick is clipping like hell need to be turned down or swapped for something more fitting. I think its a bit like this genre "liquid dubstep".... Cheers.

on Space and Time by KenichiOhme
this is nice, I like the slowed down garage feel in the intro, then great dubby sounds when that sub bass kicks in. Reminds me of the time when dubstep was still inventive and interesting. Great work. cheers

on Something Not here by DubChip
not really a house guy but not gonna lie im feeling this tune..melodies are on point, sounds quite trancy which I like, vocals are great too...One small thing though i would have preferred a bit more beatwork on this, but thats just personal preference for sure. respect man!

on Sweat and tears by DjDutcher
nice, liking the melodies...maybe a little unimaginative but i'm sure with some work and a few additions that could be remedied.

on Simple Words by Mykael
love acapella vocals, melodies are on point man. Did you reverb this or is that the natural acoustics where you recorded it?
Mykael
Mykael replied 14th Oct 2012 - 12 years ago
Hey there...

Thanks for stopping by and listening to the the track. It's reverb. I turned my walk-in closet into a vocal booth, so the acoustics there is not so great.

Love & Light,

on I Dont need you by djbudderz
sounds good man, but I think you need to work on the instruments, make them sound a little more authentic, at the moment they all sound a little too synthetic and feeling-less.
djbudderz
djbudderz replied 15th Oct 2012 - 12 years ago
In some aspects yes, i believe the guitar is pretty good. about the best i've gotten it to sound so far. I dislike the Fl keys plugin, but i haven't found a replacement that I've liked much better.

on A Taste Of My World by JamesDavies
well firstly, im not hearing much continuity here..has the sound of a few loops just stuck together without much regard to matching them...it's ok i guess but still got a long way to go before it actually sounds like a track. I think it would be safe to say you absolutely murdered a perfectly good vocal loop. sorry if it sounds harsh but just saying it as it is.

on Red Moon by vibelius
hmm, sounds okay, but im hearing a lot of problems here too. firstly the levels are way out (Some things are way too loud and some too quiet), also im hearing some serious clipping in places, i would really work on getting the levels and mastering right and you could have a great track here. cheers.

Thanks - understandable comment as I'm using a free webcam mic and a free recording suite. Hence quiet, laggy vox. When I have spare pennies for a mic it will be rerecorded :)
