thats my soft north east accent clickbait, i was afraid i was being to subtle :)) cheers for being the first to see the funny side, im wetting myself. as i was when saying it.
It doesn't have an intuitively instantaneous context of meaning, I quite agree with that. After rather yes restrained vocals one does not expect so necessarily with quite abruptly and quite impetuously beginning strong instrumental contrariness. But that's intentional, because otherwise the song would probably have quickly taken on an exclusively sentimental character, which I wanted to avoid.
"but it has enough consistency", thank you! Because also from my point of view this is given. In contrast to the usually common intact consistency of a track, however, I would name the term "Broken consistency" here and consider it a perfectly permissible technique, as a fully suitable stylistic device.
Thank you so much CBC! Glad you enjoyed this. There aren't any vocal chants as far as I'm aware of but I almost does sound a bit like throat singing due to the deep base droning effect. I'll keep my ears open for it though lol Jonathan
It's crisp man. Like I can hear the separation in between the tracks. The vocals are on a dead center throne & their isn't a missing bass drum anywhere. Technically, it's a fantastic mix. That's Ableton live for ya. Beautiful job man. Kudos.
This is cool AF man. It's weirdly apocalyptic. I think it's a the swing drums that give that effect. Great bass line too. Im going to download this & everything! Great job man.
I slowed the delay time with automation and turned off the pitch correction, which gave it the "falling" or "DOPPLAR" effect. That may be what you heard, on top of the swing value.
Happy bouncy Jazz baby!! Time to party!!!! Beautiful mix & mastering. Ableton live is so distinct like that I've gotten to where I'm able to recognize it. Outstanding track as always from the King of LM Jazz.;
What's up CBC? Thanks for stopping through. I'm glad you enjoyed what you heard. The comments and compliments are appreciated. I would caution you about mentioning Ableton......... I'll make it short. The sound quality, work flow, UI, tech support, etc. It's simply the BEST. For me personally, it's intuitive. This DAW leaves nothing to be desired. Honestly, I feel like Ableton made this just for me. I'm 5 years in and I've tried many others. Peace.

This is really cool man. Love the intro. Sounds like the vocal after the break is chanting "perfect wheel." Great job man.

Trippy man. Reminds me of the hippy drug music from way back in the day. Loose. Really loose.
