Same thing happens to me over and over man ;)
It's like : 'let's try something different today' and it always ands up being electro or something similar (which is cool though)
I really like the fat sidechain bass you made and you've used some pro fills as well ;) nice feeling to it...
good job man!
Holly really is a great singer isn't she :) Respect for her ;)
I saw this track in the featured section and thought it said electro (my style :D) but as it's electronic I thought I could still give it a listen (AND I saw quite some reviews 'n favs :D)
And it's cool dude! I like it ;)
the vocals are nice but my favourite points we're the bassline and those crazy fuzzy toms (or whatever they are xD)
the synth melody is great too ;)
exactly how I like it!! (Plain and Simple) ;)
everything comes together perfectly!
making jungle/drum and bass in fl studio is something I could never succeed in :)
that was sweet bro! You got talent man those lyrics were good!
Maybe the sound quality could've been slightly better but I don't think that's very important ;)
Could you please send the acapella to wessel_devries95@msn.com ?
I don't know if I'm gonna use the whole acapella again (of course I'll let you know if that happens) but I at least wanna chop the 'Weazel on Tha Beat' vocal outta there!
I love that
I wanted it to sound underground so I cut down the passthrough, it's an effect I loaded into Mixcraft. And want me to just make a loop of that and send it to ya man?
What I do like about this track is that it's short, yet it has a mystery about it and how it does seem to flow pretty well together, despite the instrumentation having no rhythm at all, really.
I'm sorry I copied a part of your discription but it was just so well said! :D
I like this man! it's really very creepy (very horror lol)
And your right: this could perfectly be a part of a bigger song
Thanks a lot bro, I appreciate it. You're welcome to use it, or anyone for that matter, if you're interested. I'd just ask to get to hear the final product. I'm glad you enjoyed it though, lets me know that the stuff I do isn't exactly a waste of time to anyone's ears, and that even the off the wall stuff I try may yet find an audience.
I don't listen to looperman hip hop alot
(I thought I'd say that first =P)
Big thumbs up for the lyrics! Nate Monoxide did an awesome job!
The beat you produced is not very original but that does NOT mean that I don't like it! ;) really man nice song!
and.. WHO CARES if the beat is original or not when goes together with the vocals so well ;)
As spivkurl said: this is a very creative track!
But there was one thing that kinda dissapointed me...
when I listened to the first minute of this song I was hoping some fat dnb kinda beat would come in cuz now the whole song kinda sounds like one big intro/build up (to me)
Maybe it's just me cuz this is the first track on looperman that I listen to which is in the 'Glitch' genre so maybe it's supposed to be like that.
but for 'drum and bass' : it sure is a nice intro! ;)
Glitch has a lot less rules than drum and bass. That's the main difference. They are cousins so to speak. But maybe I should add some more bass though . Either way thanx fer the reveiw.
I was reading the discription of this track and i saw you used a my three favourite vst's so I had to listen what you did with them XD
I REALLY like the epic intro and the deep bassline but...
the track itself seems to have WAY to much high frequency sounds which makes it really hard to listen to so...
sorry didn't really like this one..
maybe if it had some more relaxing sounds you know..
I love the sounds you got there mate!
I'm a big electro fan myself!
I don't think it needs vocals actually...
Maybe you can put some sort of riff in it about halfway through the song.. (using a soft/smooth synth sound to give it that epic feeling)
Thanks for the review mate. I had kinda thought of synth in the middle to give it a slight progressive (or epic) sound. I'll give that a try tomorrow.....perhaps the supersaw from the JP8080 might do the trick.
Although I recognize EVERY single sound in your track,
(it's from fl studio, I use it myself cuz it's awesome =D)
I still think you put together great! And I also think that using (very) common sounds should not be a problem to anyone as long as their enjoyable/hq.
But I also think this track needs some improved mastering:
-You can experiment with panning all your different sounds.
The results of doing that can be pretty amazing.
-Very often (in fl) just putting the Maximus plugin on the master channel (of the mixer) can make the whole track sound ALOT cleaner.
where drums come in around 0:25 for instance sounds a bit distorted > maximus can solve it
This must be my longest review yet haha
anyways, this track really has something but it can get even better ;)
Haha it didn't quite change to electro like I thought it would!
I think this still 100% 'RnB'ish' Give it some lyrics and it would be perfect ;)
Loved all those funny different synths u used man!
keep bringing those crazy sounds ;)

But I keep hope for a minimal track soon :D
And yes, she is. Inspiring voice.

I really like the synths in the intro (nice delay effect ;D)
I also like the big reverb fx on the snare sounds (something I like to do myself)
The wobble bass is a little too snappy for my taste but it also kinda fits into your track really nicely.
And you're right: You almost destroyed my subs >:(
just kiddin' ;D

Maybe it needs some better mastering or something
The bass for instance is nice as an intro but it doesn't really work together with the drums and the strings ...
on my Maori girl by IllestSTYLEZ
The Intro made me smile!
Also, The guitar sound matches the drums really well good job!
But you should at least do one of two things i say below :
- Give it ALOT more variation (or just make it a lil' shorter)
- Or give this track some nice lyrics!
Would be even better if you do!
cheers
