on hmm kaos by senciman
Nice work, love the atmospheric beginning in particular.. beats maybe lacking the variety that would take this onto a higher level.. good though

on The Trapdoor by djCarisma
Preferred your other track, this ain't bad though, feeling the sample , is it from an 80's kids tv show? Beats are too tinny for me and the whole tune would again benefit from more edits and breakdowns to hold listeners interest.. Thanks for sharing. SN 76

on Without Fear by djCarisma
This is jump up in the modern Dj Hazard type style. I love the sample, I think this would benefit massively from a few more sweeping sounds and breakdowns to add variety.. I enjoyed it though ,am glad to see you back on looperman

on speeka bruza by roughrider
This is a well produced slice of jump up. You have improved leaps and bounds. Production is tight , drums do some real damage as does the bass. Maybe a little more variety would improve things... Top stuff Roughrider.

on jungle is the only path through by senciman
The intro is lovely and atmospheric but lasts a bit too long methinks, Think if the beats dropped about 32 bars previously it would improve things. Bpm too slow guessing its in the 160s ? need to ramp that up by about 8 or 10 bpm to get the beats firing a bit more... that said there are some great elements here, and a wicked jungle vibe.. will check some more of yrs , check some of mine if you like. Keep em coming

I like this and feel so much potential, distorts a bit in places , beats are too loud and overpowering, a better mix would work wonders... love yr jazz style , would love to hear an improved version.

on This moonlit night by StephenPotter
I wouldn't call this d and b because people's perceptions of it are formed before they listen and it dissapoints when you don't get that Junglist sound... kind of like ordering roast beef and then getting chicken, it might be good chicken but you still want the beef, if you know whatimean!Call it chillout put it in that section and reviews will be better.
StephenPotter

Yeah, I know, my drum and bass is chillout on speed. But I'm gonna keep it as it is, unless I decide to update it, but yeah, because this used to be my entry for the looperman song, it had to be short, but because I've dropped out, I can extend it further and make it more like drum and bass.

Thanks for the review! :)

on Ganja Man by DjSiren
My advice is to get a classic break eg amen break, apache break or similar and use it in this tune, trust me you'll get that oldskool jungle sound then, promising though.

I'm contacting you on behalf of Mr Larry Heard (Fingers Inc) who has granted me the power of attourney to prosecute you for an unlicensed and wanton use of the vocals from "Can you feel it".... Good sampling and good track, I'd finish this if i was you... Lots of underground potential.
