I like this , its got a quirky electro ness about that rare in dandb. When it first came on it threw me a bit because it s very different from the d and b i normally listen to. Top marks for doing something different
Needs some bottom end Get a subbass on there pronto! I thought maybe u could call it Heavens gate , then remembered that movie was one of the biggest box office disasters ever!So maybe not, Im not that good with names.... keep it up though it shows potential!
yeh it was hard to find a similar kick with more power and trust me with the amount of automation and effects being put into place that I hardly had any CPU power to do anything else lol - ask Travis I'm real creative when it comes to automation (although not pro yet) :)
Thanks for the words of encouragement!
I'll hit up one of your tracks!
God Bless

Massive dubstep influence here. You should have said in the blurb lol! I like the sounds you have used here especially the telephone sample, Its a bit short and could do with more polish but its an interesting style.
Worth the time you spent on it bro. Trance influence very apparent, but d and b style toughens it up very nicely. Hard to knock this track when its so damn well executed top work and inspirational too.
Very good tune, wicked synth and pancake sample works well. Mr Scruff used to sample vocals like that , so did a lot of warp records stuff, works with dubstep bigtime!
nice piece of rolling jazz my friend, take it thats you on the piano? Nice work regardless, would love to go to uni or college and study music ,you re privileged !
Thanks for the review =) I'll have some more stuff posted soon enough, but I've got to clean them up first. This site is about reviewing, after all. =P
I'll take a look at some of your other tracks. Your D&B sounded pretty solid from initial listen.
Badass bass after the drop, moves me big time! Intro too cheesy for a bassline track i m afraid needs changing for something more in keeping with the dark vibe of the rest of the track .Loads of potential .. cheers for sharing best thing i ve heard here today !
Love the style of this track.. nice old skool elements. I do think its too fast though .Try and lose a few bpm , try about 4 and it will sound better. Occasionally sounds coming in are a bit too loud or quiet so keep an ear out for those... I can hardly hear the jazzy part for example ,which is a shame cuz it sounds nice. This is a fine bit of work just needs a few loose ends tying up. Maybe do that and repost it would like to hear a tweaked version.
Rolls along effortlessly , nice dark vibe to it too. I ve always thought d and b to be deceptive music... It sounds far easier to make than it actually is and on this one you make it appear easy cuz the tune flows well . Good stuff man !
sweet bro,,
appreciate the comment.. iv found to make make better harder dnb tracks you have to kinda practice on the cheesy ones first which whats happened here..
take it easy. and keep up the work!!
Like the intro with the congas or bongos , the sample from a kids tv programme is pretty cheeky too ha ha ! Remember being at a rave in london in 90s and hearing a tune that sampled thundercats so you reminded me of that! Rest of the tune reminded me of dj hazards style from a while back! good work buddy !
not bad , old skool feel after first drop that i appreciated. good work but beginning seems very different from the rest of the track, maybe chop off the beginning and concentrate on the rest of the track which is very deep and nice ???
Yes I think you are right. I think I'll split it into two tracks, I kinda thought this when I was making it. Many thanks for taking the time to review my track. Cheers man.
I like this tune ... good bit of old skool jump up ! Got me dancing round the kitchen while my gf smiled........ shes too pregnant to dance! thanks for sharing we should collab for real
