Yeah, Cinematic is a good description for it. Its really good, man, like it all the way thru. There's a section about halfway through that reminds me of something ive heard in a video game I've played a long time ago, and I really like it.

This time a Vital preset "LD_Opal_1" from Woolf and the sequence is played in MIDI as 1/16th notes. Created several subprojects for this having A2, A3, A4 and A5 as base note, then used them as loops in the song to prevent CPU/mem hogging by Vital. 1 center track playing the A2 except for the spoken word, and 2 L/R tracks pitched up 1 and 2 octaves that, come in at the vocal and stop before the whisper. The pad during the spoken word is a Vital preset "PAD_Valve_1" from Woolf + in the background the L/R tracks but now 2 and 3 octave up.

The subrojects aren't just loops, they have 3 sections; a 4 bar midi loop that I refer to as the START, then a second 4 bar midi loop that I refer to as the loop, at it's start has a marker named LOOP, then the dying sounds effects till silence, the start marked as TAIL. The Start part has no inherited sound effects in the beginning, LOOP and TAIL have. So in your track you start with the START+LOOP, then repeat LOOP without TAIL as often as needed and use the TAIL only after the arp stops.

PM me if you like to have examples :)

I can understand protesting against those things, man. They are both huge causes of the suffering in my life, and much of the Squadd feels the same, as well as many others I know of, and many more around the world i dont. It makes me happy to know that you believe in a cause such as this. And you support it with your boundless creativity

No love songs in my head, I guess I'm a lefty ;) This is my third protest song, after "Dark times ahead" and "Reset". It has no impact, but maybe it triggers someone to think. It's better than doing nothing at all and letting the world rot.

Yes, actually. Yes u must network with us. Its too late now, Kay. We're with ya until the end, for better or for worse. Lol.
In all honesty, we'd probably be the worst coworkers in an environment where productivity is important. Because all of us together is a comedy show. Trust me lol.
What Aaron said is very true, I dont think I could've put things that eloquently but still lol

on Track 07 - Clear Mind by Gixxie
Hey man, I like this piece. I will say this much - my brother is Pnnywze. His way of looking at things has rubbed off on the rest of us, especially me, so I know my advice is close to what his would be. Throughout the course of your life as a music creator, u must understand that your tastes and style will change, just as other aspects of yourself will. In doing so, your experience stays with you. Thats how you evolve. Sometimes that evolution brings us full circle back to where we started, only with alot more experience and a better understanding of what direction you should go. I find that thinking in this way allows me to think of my past experiences as well as where Im at now in a more positive light, not just with music but in all things. In your case, its awesome that you've decided to take your musical direction back to where u want it to be. Just dont forget to apply what you've learned doing other things to your current projects. I hope all that makes sense
Gixxie
Gixxie replied 14th Jun 2026 - 1 week ago
I'm confused now... Pnnywze is your real biological brother or just brother figuratively speaking? - in any case thanks for the listen and the comment!

In my case, i have different musical identities/genres, people assume that my main genre is hiphop but actually I'm more of a movie soundtrack/experimentalist producer, im always looking to create new sounds in genres that are not mainstream.

Throughout the years as i gained more music experience/theoretical knowledge my music started to sound too polished and structured, like i am trying to be perfect at the cost of the vibe itself kinda.. that's more what i mean when I said I want to go back to the beginning. You are right.. applying what i know now to my old projects is only going to make it better and it has. Just musically i sometimes feel I'm trying to be too much like someone else and all i need to be is me and that's enough is basically what I'm tryna say.

Hey, we totally get leaving past work alone, even though its hard sometimes. I say its a record of personal growth, and even if In the beginning someone is nowhere as good as they are now, the material from that time is worth hanging onto. Your Guitar never fails to put me in a good mood. The best way to describe it for me is that your music makes me feel like Im right where Im supposed to be. Thanks for sharing!

on Drought by Flat2Forge
Don't let Juan Carlos down there lie to you, I think we've made him a new fan of this type of music lol. Ah, but that's one of the coolest things about music in general - other music creators, the good ones, always know when a song has been done well, regardless of its a 300 year old Concerto or the latest Horrorcore Rap or anything in between. My approach to vocals is similar, it doesn't matter to me if only one person ever hears it or 1 million people, I always push myself for consistency and give it 1000fort everytime. Same as you guys.
I like the Key this one is in, idk why I just really like Am lol. One of my favorite songs is Down in a Hole by Alice in Chains, and it starts in Amin, so I think that's why. Your drums have evolved since I first heard your work, too.
Flat2Forge
Flat2Forge replied 7th Jun 2026 - 2 weeks ago
Man, this comment genuinely made my day! You're absolutely right, that's the magic of music. When something is crafted with real passion and effort, it transcends genres. I love that you mentioned 'Down in a Hole' by Alice in Chains, that track is a masterpiece and Amin just has that dark, emotional weight that hits different. Also, thank you so much for noticing the evolution in the drums! Ive been putting a lot of hours into refining my rhythms and bounce lately, so hearing that from you means a lot. That mindset of pushing for consistency and giving it 1000% every single time, whether it's for 1 or 1 million people, is exactly what keeps us authentic. Thanks for always bringing that real producer spirit to the community. Let's keep forging!

I've gotten into this habit: first, I check the featured songs in case there are any older ones I've posted, so I don't miss them. Then I listen to the latest ones uploaded since my last visit. I play them all, listening to the ones I like until the end, and skipping the ones I don't like as much, but I give them all a chance. This has helped me discover songs that, because of their genre, I would never have heard of, and yet they've surprised me. Like what happened with Trap; I've heard songs that I've loved, and I never would have expected it. You guys are partly to blame for me starting to like Trap, haha.
Thanks for the warm welcome and the attention you give me.
Best regards, Juan Carlos

Hello Juan Carlos Its Pnnywze, im with my brother Jared so Im writing from his phone, and he runs our group page. Ive read your interactions with Dime and Rita, and I agree with everything they said., especially in regards to your reception in the community. After years of coming to know those 2, I can confidently say that they are both among my most valued friends, and are fine examples of the homo sapien species. I could write u a list of the people Ive met here that became valued friends of mine but I'd need several sheets of paper lol. Just like anything that involves humans, there are a few ##### stains but the good ones far outnumber them. Im telling you this because you have had such a great approach to your interactions with us, and I want to assure u that you're in good hands here. You've been polite and respectful when considering any advice that's been given to you, and you've had a willingness to learn. All these great folks, and myself, will always be willing to lend an ear or a hand. I'll enjoy watching u progress and grow even further as time goes on. Glad you're here, man.

Hi Pnnywze!

It was the same with Paul; I got goosebumps reading your words. Because after almost three months in this great LM family and reading hundreds of comments, I've come to understand the connection between you all, and when I read comments like yours from people who, for me, form the backbone of LM... well, it really touches me.
I realize the relationship you have and how generous and kind you are, which is why I've always considered you a big family united by music.
The language barrier bothers me, not knowing English, haha, because I waste so much time translating everything many times until I manage to get people to understand what I want to say. Sometimes a bad translation leads to misunderstandings.

I'm very proud of the welcome you've given me, which is why I feel indebted and always reply to every message and read your replies to mine. Sometimes even in the early hours of the morning, I've woken up after 20 hours of migraine, and I've logged on to listen to the new songs and read the messages. I think LM is a bit addictive for me, hahaha.

I sat and listened to you guys' new album night before last during my nightly chat with Mary Jane. It's really good, man. Good enough to just put it on shuffle and let it play. Theres alot of emotional depth to those songs, more than it seems at first. And they're just really well done and catchy. It's a perfect companion to our album. It seems my brother knows what he's doing. Lol.

Dude this is fire!! And I remember that sample! For real, thank you for showing love to my brother, man. He deserves it and so many of you are good friends to him and to us. This is a perfect homage man! Chef's kiss!

Ain't no A.I. gonna make music this good because it always lacks certain things, no matter what people say - A.I. music lacks humanity, believabilty, and nuance. Its only champions are 15 year olds with I Phones, certainly not real musicians who have worked hard their whole lives for next to nothing as it is.

BTW I heard you and Pnnywze are working on something special

Wow, man... reading this truly brought a huge smile to my face and touched my heart. Thank you so much for these words. Pnnywize is a brother to the community, an absolute legend, and making this track with his sounds was all about pure respect and love. Hearing from you that it feels like a perfect homage and getting that 'chef's kiss' means absolutely everything to me.

I couldn't agree more with you on the AI topic. Music is about soul, sweat, late nights in the studio, and real human connection. That's something no algorithm can ever replicate or steal from us real musicians who live and breathe this every day.

And about that little secret... haha, word travels fast! Yes, your brother and I are cooking up something truly massive in the forge. We're putting our souls into it, and I can't wait for you and the world to hear it.

Much love and respect to you and the family, brother. Thank you for being here!
