Nice mix. I've used some of the same loops and I would say almost a Hip-Hop flavor. Dusthill is an great loop artist. His stuff is so good it kind of transcends genres. You speed it up and it becomes something else. I really liked what you did with his samples in this one. Keep it up.

I liked this one. Almost Cinematic. Nice fat sound. Good bass and synths. Could be used in movie for sure. Good stuff to echo the review above.

on Coronation by GhostPIG
This is nice one. Beautiful melody. And yes I'm a big fan of DJ4Real also. I've been using his loops a lot lately myself. I think you're pretty good at these tracks no matter what the style. I noticed no vocal samples in this one (lol) and yet... It's still really good! (Can't resist a told you so...haha)
Keep making music friend. :)

Jan, your tracks are always so well produced. Polished is a word I'd use. I wish mine were as nicely put together. I really like this one to echo all the other reviews. This is excellent. :)

You love those vocal samples... lol. You really don't need them, your music is really good without them although I do find myself smiling a lot. You got the Techno sense GhostPIG for sure. I really enjoy your stuff. Keep on making me laugh and tapping my foot. Cheers.

Thanks koble, and my wife makes the same point. Sometimes the movie theme drives my creation of the song, and sometimes it's just a fun way to get someone to relate to your mix. But I will make a habit of keeping a separate "sample free" version.

Catchy. Nice beat and melody. I found myself getting into it the longer I listened. Gonna download this one. Good job. Almost Dance. (at least I felt like dancing.. lol). Excellent.
P.S. yes Progressive House. Very nice.

Yeah Deep House it is. Atmospheric. Solid beat and bassline. Had me tapping my foot. Way nice. I'm gonna download this one too. One of the better examples of House I've heard. Sweet!

This is pretty good. It gets better as it progresses in my opinion. I'm really liking it starting at about 2 minutes in. These mixes are really nice. Good use of loops. I'm smelling some talent. I want to hear more. Keep mixing!

Hey this is a fun track. Found myself smiling and enjoying the beat. Nice variation throughout. I'm not sure it's exactly Trance but then again... I'm not sure what genre it is but I like it. Good work.

on White Sands Remix by AwakeningComp
Haha. So you did this one WhiteSands. I enjoyed it the first time and I'm enjoying it again. Disco is exactly what it is but good Disco. Very original take on the remix. I honestly never would have thought of it. Loved the rounded tones. Great arrangement.

on Samuel Pushpak Remix by AwakeningComp
Samuel,
I feel like I've discovered a great new artist in you. (for whatever that's worth..:P) I loved all of your regular tracks and believe it or not without realizing this was one of yours it was one of my favorites in the runner-ups. I love the glossy urban ethnic feel of the music you do. It seems slightly exotic to me which I love. Keep on arranging and composing. I'm awaiting more.

on Runner Up 3 - DJ 4 REAL - 77 Points by AwakeningComp
This is a good one. This was most similiar in tempo to the one I submitted but.... yours is better than mine.. Damn! Haha. Oh well. I can't win em all. Very polished and well mixed. You guys are all so good. I loved the diversity in this competition. It's amazing the variations in tracks that came out. Very good job, DJ4Real. Keep em coming and those loops too.

on Runner Up 1 - MR E - 104 Points by AwakeningComp
Very Nice MrE. I told you were talented. :P
Very New York Evening Jazz. The Sax is amazing. Sultry and smooth. This could be a background mood piece for a movie easily but it's very listenable in it's own right. A piece well done.

on THE WINNER With 107 Points - Krakafaktri by AwakeningComp
This is so good. The piece develops nicely and becomes a solid RnB/House piece with DnB undertones. Very polished. As good as anything I've heard. Very listenable. Very well done. Well deserved win.

on Across The States 2nd edit by WhiteSands
Soulful, Chilled-out. Not Electro almost House. RnB is also a good choice. Nice piece. Peaceful and sometimes that's what you want. Good low-key melody. I think the ending should have just been faded out to match the mood of the piece. Very good.

on Give me another chance by Steevo
Straying away from Rap? I like it. Almost a latin beat. Good percussion. Kind of funky for House but those genres never seem to fit anyway. Catchy. Interesting sounds. I like this direction.
Explore some more and I'll listen. I'm liking it.

on Glowing After Dark Parametricks Automation Trance by CalifKen
Nice! I agree, great intro but I liked the transition to the melody also. Nice volume changes. I need to work on those myself. Could have gone on longer with some of the interesting tempo/volume changes you put in there. Good stuff.
CalifKen

That's my next step with it, to let some of the good stuff go a little longer so it's more like a jam than a jingle. Thanks for the review!

on Junai by ToxicVoltage
Another banging Trance track. You have a feel for these tracks Tox. I am especially liking the repetitive background "wall of sound". I like that approach since it allows you to wind your melody in the foreground. Keep on making good sounds. I'd like to hear longer versions of most of your pieces which I understand is not possible with the size limitation but I'd still like it.

on Falling towards the sky - By Eshar (Gone remix) by Steevo
I like this one Steevo. Works for me. Very mellow. Nice melody. Good well-balanced mix in my opinion. Flows nicely. You did a great job putting this together. What was that drum beat at the end though? Was that my system? or an errant sound?
Steevo

on Motorway by Salkizar
Hey Salkizar,
I hadn't discovered your music yet on Looperman. Very good. Complex. Challenging. I've been sampling some of your tracks for the last 20 minutes or so and I will definitely be back. I like this one best so far. Good title, fits the music. I've been working on my final mixes lately and I'd suggest bumping the low-end a bit for that pounding mix. Could achieve the same effect with some compression. I really like your stuff.
Salkizar

Thanks for your detailed comment matey! Yeah the low end mix aint great on this neither is the mid range but I am planning on remixing it when i get the chance..thx again
