This is awesome Purge. You always had a way with setting the right mood in your tracks. The only thing I miss here is the deeper frequencies. I wish there was some meat on the bones of the riffs, a tad heavier kickdrum.
Would love to remix this if I had the chance.
Keep the gems coming.

This instantly reminded me of Story Of The Year. Can tell you have some influences there.
The only thing I would change is the frequencies on the rythm guitar. Not that they are bad, not at all - but I would prefer a crisper sound. Boost it around 3k or something.

on The Fight For Love by kriebel17
I first heard this one today. And I must say the timing seems abit off throughout the song. But the part between 1:47 and 1:57 is insanely good. I would love to hear this with that sort of vocalstyle all the way! And to have the timing issue fixed :)

No comments on this yet? Wow. People are too lazy nowadays. I really enjoyed this one. I have much respect for Kikajon and his work - a great musician. The lyrics and vocalwork are nothing but stellar, and is a great companion to the 'raw' music.
Thank you for sharing this great work of yours Tacatta and Kikajon. Certainly a couple of the most talented musicians on the site.

This impresses me. Alot. The progressions and transitions are amazing, and the slight use of ambience at 1:00 and the few seconds after.. Ridiculously good.. Love the intensity that comes after that break. The only thing I wish for this track, is a slight better mixing.. Meaning more depth and a tiny bit more clarity in the rythmguitar, other than that - this track is one of the better pieces I've heard within the genre in a long time. Will keep an eye out for your next projects.. Maybe a colab one day..?
Keep it metal sethy, your skills are awesome.

I totally agree with nosnhojnilremus here. Great riffs, although the drums needs to be more upfront in the mix..

Whoa. Awesome riff, and the drums sound just the same. When the double bass came in, I was like 'oh yes'.. This is epic. The only thing I would change a bit is the mixing. Seems like the bassdrum and the guitars share a whole lot of low frequencies that help create some noise.. Other than that, this is just.. f*ck yeah. Mindblowing. Keep it up man.

on Dont fall before your enemies by mcskynard
Oh man. I love electro-infused metal. And I love to see that I'm not the only one trying to create musical pieces within that genre. The riffs are brutal - awesome man. And the 'calm' section of the song was a sweet break. Gave me goosebumps.. The only thing I would like to add is that you could cut some of the lower frequencies of the guitars (200 to 800hz I think), and might boost some between 3 and 5k hz. I think you might get a more clear sound out of it. Anyway - I really enjoyed this one. More of this!

on Youth Is Wasted Demo by ButcherOfNormality
I must admit that I admire the level of creativity within simplicity. Simple riffs, yet they are brutally effective. Same thing goes for the drums. I miss some more use of the cymbals though - to create the little extra level of tension. Good job Eric, looking forward to hear more from you. Your progress has been radical.

The lead work is simple, yet highly effective - well done. Enjoyed the 'acoustic' part alot aswell, it was a nice break.
I really liked the structure and melodies you presented here. Keep this up buddy.

DubStep fascinates me more and more. Especially when I hear tracks like this. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this. Love the mixing, love the use of instruments and effects. You wouldnt happen to have a DubStep-project lying around that I can use? I'm pretty much into the metalgenre, but I love to mix genres, and I've been playing with the thought of doing a fusion of these two. Sounds odd - I know. But done right, I'm more than certain that it will be.. unexpected and fresh :)

Thanks for sharing this fine tune with us.

Like soundn du har. Den passe sangen som en kondom. Ganske full å go. Kun på Basstromma that is.. Ellers e det en veldi drivanes sang, men ikkje helt min stil sånn eeeegentli :p
Men bra jobba!

on Love Bird Gone by MikeZippyVee
Nice riffs and melodies throughout. The only thing I have to say is that I miss the presence of the rythmguitar. It seems to drown in the mix, and sounds also abit.. sludgy.. clean it up abit and turn it up a notch. The heavy part at the end was awesome, but let me guess.. you havent been equalizing much..? Seems like alot of the guitars and drums go through the same frequencies and therefore creates a major muddy area (around 150-300 Hz would be my guess).
Anyway - keep it up!

Hands down.

This is really not my genre, but sometimes there's tracks that impress me and hits me. And I'll tell you, this one did. Amazing work. Simply perfect, I'm stunned. You're a great artist BigJoWezy, dont let anyone tell you different. Keep doing what you do.
A standing ovation from me.

Fin den her.
Men bra jobba!

on nothing clever comes to mind by stianh182
Mye trøkk i den ihvertfall!
