Never been big on Metallica, but I did like Finger Eleven's earlier stuff like "Greyest of Blue Skies". I heard "Broken Words" played acoustic and live at a radio station, and looked into their stuff. Borderline too radio-friendly even back then. Now, those "One Thing" and "Paralyzed" tracks are total #####. Not sure what the rest of the album sounds like because the singles they vomited out tell me it's all crap now.
