I like how it has an overall serious tone to it but is very playful and sweet. I may only be 18 but it makes me think of how it might be like when you become a parent. So incredibly beautiful, but you know it won't be easy. This is simple but really creates a mood, great work!
Well, first off, in my personal opinion you had way to many effects going on here. There is a saying in the world of producing when you apply to many effects to an acoustic piece, it's called "polishing a turd"
Now please keep in my mind I do NOT think your song "is crap" in fact the chords are nice, and I can tell it was hard for you to sing, but you did it anyway, so props there.
Another thing that really took this down was the guitar. It was out of tune, or at least one of the higher strings was. I couldn't tell what chords you were playing, beacuse of all the effects, but perhaps something like a D, it sounded off. This is normally not a problem in the world of music, just when you show other musicians your stuff, you have to the "ear" for it.
Overall I must give you props, but in my book, this needs some serious work. I know you stated it's not done, so I look forward to seeing the finished product.

P.S. I'm sorry if I came off mean, I wasn't trying to be.
wow your right i didnt even tune the guitar that day you have a great ear my friend.yes maybe one day i will finish this song(when i get better hahaha)thanks for the review i appreciate the honesty.
I have about five years of guitar in me, unfortunately I was in an accident a year back and can't play anymore. I have had all these ideas for songs to play on guitar, but can't.
There is something about this song that just makes me feel ok about all this, there is such emotion in it, and it feels so personal. It's like that cliche'd line people say to there favorite artist; "It's like you wrote that song just for me." That's how I feel haha, good job, keep it up!!

--- I'd love to hear your opinion of my stuff if you have a min.
I love it! That piano is great, and good use of strings to back it up. Overall this was played an mixed very well, I just have one gripe...
Your singing is very compressed. It sounds like your singing with a clogged nose. My advice to you is to sing from your stomach not your throat or head, if that makes any sense....I'm one to talk though, I can't sing at all! I'm not trying to be mean, just speaking my mind.
I sifted through most of your tracks, our styles are pretty different, so I couldn't really find anything that spoke to me. This was my favorite track, mainly the piano. Other than that I agree with ResistanceIsFutile, your not quite reaching were you need to be with this!! Keep up the good work though ;)
I love this so much. You have the perfect amount of build and it really pays off. To be honest I thought the intro was to "Gritty" but when the other instruments come in it really sounds nice. I'm defiantly putting this on my iPod!
Check out some of my stuff, I noticed you had some strings in here, I think are styles would do well with a collab. Keep up the great work, and down the line, when you make 14 tracks or so, put em'up on iTunes, and you'll do well,
Thanks for the feedback man, that was the first song I've ever posted anywhere. Agreed on the collab. I'll definitely check out some more of your stuff.
I am Angelus1818, I provided the guitar loop. I just wanted to say thanks to Tacatta for adding such wonderful lyrics to those chords. I actually just had surgery Friday and lost the use of my left wrist, so I am no longer able to play guitar. You can imagine how bummed I was so to get the notifying email from looperman was a real treat! So thank you Tacatta, keep up the great work, and you made my week knowing my chords inspired a full song amount of lyrics to you. You rock!
Your Guitar truly did inspire me to write this!Thanx so much!!I hope that this track could help pick you up.Your in my thoughts and prayers,I hope things go well with your recovery.
When this track started playing I was a little weary, as to what direction it was going in. I really overall was impressed with it. It took me down, down in a sense were I was in complete relaxation. I don't know (Or even think) this was your goal, but the music served me well. I recommend this song to all Indie lovers everywhere!!!!
