This is pretty awesome! I like the bass line! My only problem with it is that it seems kind of distorted, maybe over compressed or something! Cool song though!

Peres replied 5th Aug 2012 - 14 years ago

Ok bro I'll have a look at that thanks for the review !

on Untitled 1st attempt at break by Symetrix

This is awesome! Very good synthesis! Can't tell that the bass is 3xOSC! Really good for your first try at a genre! Good stuff!

Symetrix replied 5th Aug 2012 - 14 years ago

Thanks! Yes, all the Basses are 3XOSC with 3 automated EQ, reverb distorsion, Flanger and chorus. I latley started to use eq-s over basic filters. It got me 1 step closer to that Noisia style bass I try to achive :D

Love the mechanical nature of this track, definitely representative of the technological conundrum we find ourselves in! Great NIN sounding beats! You are definitely in my all time top five favourite loopers! Great work!

CyberSon replied 3rd Aug 2012 - 14 years ago

Thank you my good friend for checking this out. In your top 5? I'm not worthy, but thanks anyway.

on Trevelyan Skies by visionarysoundsystem

Wow, this is cool! From the relaxing intro to the poetic dance marathon! A really exciting piece! Groovy synths! Good track my friend!

visionarysoundsystem replied 4th Aug 2012 - 14 years ago

Spiv my friend thanx so much for reviewing this track. I'm always a touch nervous about posting up my experiMENTAL stuff. Guys like you work outside and within and beyond genres all the time and have actually given me the confidence to try and work differently myself. When I get a positive review on this side of my work it gives me the greatest pleasure. OK my experiMENTAL project maybe just a touch pretentious but a good review makes me want to get better at "messing" with sounds. Thanx again mate. I have a couple like this almost ready and a couple I'm working on and kind comments from 'experiMENTAL Loopers' like you makes we want to strive harder to make tracks that work outside of the "norm". Peace, Love & Respect Sir.
