Lyricism and real music is something LM, hell music in general is lacking. People don't realize the power of music to document phases of your life and impact others lives. This was dope bro, keep grindin.
I really appreciate the solid comment.
Just tonight I listened to my music catalog dating back 15 years. The music tells the story of my life at that point in time and I'm forever grateful to be where I am now.
Glad you pushed play!
Very nice. That beginning of the last portion reminds me of "summer breeze" Isley Bros. How much of the production work do you do if you don't mind? Analog or digital? Nice work.
Hi Format. Thank you!
This was composed on guitar. I had those chords and just recorded them with electric and acoustic guitar to a simple beat, which I changed later on. Then I added the bass, live played of course. Then all keyboards/synths live. I prefer samples from real instruments! That melody after the verse is a combination of french horn and traverse flute). Oh yes, and then of course the vocals. So the only thing that was not played live are the drums, but they also took a lot of tricky handicraft.
Thanks for your interest,
keep well,
stay in tune,
heads up,
keep groovin,
bye bye,
Michael
Nice analog sound, love the vocal effects. Often second guess my work as well. Always have to go back to the initial feeling and intent and realize that's what others will usually experience when the hear it. Nice work.
I have so many files in a "I like this but it's not good enough folder". Typically a break for a month or two gives the creative brain enough time to recoup.
