one thing, i guess it's just a personal preference, but i'd work on the beats. not so much the beat samples, more so the sequencing. you want that syncopated sound, you want it to sound slightly broken to give it that disjointed dubstep vibe. maybe adding some swing, or just manually placing some additional HH in. also, have a go at pitching your drum samples down. in order to do this, you will need to tighten the samples up, thus giving it that PUNCH sound, which is vital in making dubstep.
ohhh, another trick i like to use is layering. layer your snares to get a fuller sound. don't forget to tighten them also. if u layer a snappy clap over a thick dnb snare and then add a mid range snare to that, you get a really nice punchy snare that snaps nicely.
but man, props on the tune so far. the bassline is deffs there.

MAN!!!! this is awesome... that intro lead to the drop was pro! when it dropped i was like yeahhhhhhhhhhh, that's exactly what you want. mate, trance/dance is no where near my fav genre BUT this kicked hard, i really really enjoyed it!

i like how you incorporated an 'academic' theme in the vocals! i guess it's something that the peeps listening can relate to... and i think you achieved that theme well, very unique!
because im a beat junkie i got a few ideas that a swelling in my head, but i guess that relates to my tastes... one major aspect that is digging away at me id the bass, you need some more hard sub bass blowing!
nevertheless the beat is nice (i love the piano melody) and i really enjoyed listening to it.. 3 times in fact :P

your sampling skills are good... id say stick with FL (as far as sequencing and sampling goes), explore the boundaries... damn i have heard some great stuff come out of FL users! don't be fooled by the simplicity of the program, it is a boss piece or software!
