thanks mate :-) haha, true, just like Grace Jones, cool vocal. Lucky we are getting a year younger each year. Nick Kershaw is the daddy of all music :-) !!!
Hi mate nice work here you can really feel the Depeche Mode influence on the track, the only thing I would suggest is maybe a little play with the levels in the final mix as the vocal track gets a bit drowned in places, and I would make it a bigger feature in the mix as it works really well!! Keep up the good work!!
Second...yes, I know the vox get drowned a bit in places. It was quite difficult to level all of the parts out - some spots were quite blaring, while others were much softer. In the end, I could use some tips on how to handle those kinds of situations if you've ever had to deal with that. I literally spent days trying just to normalize the volumes of the different parts.
Thirdly, I built the track around her vocals. I felt a very jazzy vibe from her, so I made sure to use jazz beats.
Finally, the song sort of morphed into a meaningful topic about bullying. I'm quite pleased it did as it's become a subject of concern lately in the schools.
Thanks for listening and I love your avatar - the cassette tape. Long live pencil winding!
cheers mate :-) I think my mixes are getting better, or my ears are getting worse :-)
I have just downloaded your deep house track Butterfly, looking forward to checking it out !! Ambient deep tracks are what I love :-), will get a review up shortly.
Thanks, Smallpaul! This is a major musical departure for me as I am a folk musician who plays the Appalachian dulcimer . . . But, having been horribly afflicted by Chronic Lyme disease makes me want to educate the public about this horrible disease so no one else will get it. Please do what you can to share this audio clip, ok? Thanks!
It's essentially an advert for prime loops really. I did a few bit's and then added the filters but i just thought i'd let someone else write the track for a change. I'm too busy with this Eurovision song contest malarkey lol.

Not happy about the model thing at all!! The track however happens to be really good and defo Chicane sounding. Some of the frequencies do sound a little crowded at times and the vocal sometimes drowns the track a little. You could solve most of your problems by using Ableton Live. Ha ha. Great track all the same mate.
Cheers man, I just noticed a huge clip towards the end of it so it's being updated as i type. I might give it a whirl though disableton and see what happens.
Or i might just forward it to you later if i can't do it lol! That programme at the moment does my nut in.
But i am going to keep up with this one until i get it right. (Although i'm starting to get a bit p*ssed off with it now_)
Oh and sorry about the model thing. Marketing you see! Sex sells.
Cheers for listening.
Excellent work here my friend, Disco house is alive and well. This has to be one of the best tracks ive heard on the loop for a while. Very well done!!
Hi mate nice work here, I wouldnt usually listen to Dub but im glad I stopped by. The link didnt work so I couldnt find the original. I liked this a lot though and will probably listen to more n the future!!
I've tried to do dub on a few occasions but something normally goes wrong half way through. Apart from larking about with the loops and chucking some effects on it i didn't actually do a lot really. Redgold supplied all the melodic parts. But next time i'm going to have a go all by myself (so it's bound to be shit)
Cheers for stopping by.
One toasted please!! Nice use of the gated synths here mate. And the voice thats sounds like those dudes of Battle star Galactica!! ha ha defo one for the electronic genre! Nice strings at around the halfway point, (couldnt get time!) Nice fade too! Awesome!
Thanks mate. I think i might be starting to improve again at last. It has got a certain kind of battlestar galactica or buck rogers kind of feel to it.
I should put in a sampole of tweaky going "bidi....bidi..bidi" ha ha! Do you remember that rubbish show?
Hi mate, Im lovin the track. I think it has even greater potential as a Trip Hop track with the right production, this is a great track in its own right though!! Well done.
Wow what an amazing tune, its an instant classic, part of the appeal is its rawness but it sounds really well produced!! And for a dude who s 'not a singer' you can really warble!! I wish I 'couldnt sing ' as well as you!! Quality mate!!!
HEY S.PAUL, THANKS 4 THE EARS AND KIND WORDS. YEAH I'M A WARBERLER AND U 2 CAN B 1 2. SMOKE 2 PACKS OF KOOLS A DAY B 50 YRS OLD AND GETTA MIC.LOL.I'M KIDDIN, SERIOUSLY HAVE'NT SONG IN FRONT OF ANYBODY ANYWHERE IN 40 YEARS. SANG WITH MY FAM, GOSPEL STUFF. THAT'S IT. Excellent piece here my friend!! Very haunting, and very Pink Floyd esque!! I think everybody has a Pink Floyd track in them and I was gong to suggest a Pink Floyd Category!!?? for all those inclined!! Very well done!
Thanks for the feedback! I hadn't thought of it being like Pink Floyd, but now you mention it . . . . . I suppose there is a lot of them in me (I first saw them in about 1970 about the time of Saucerful of Secrets!)

its been a while, I thought I better produce a track else I will forget how to do it.
Good to see you have not let your production work rate slip like me, you have a quality creative mix ! e.g drum and base, house ...
