From the first note, Al B. Sure! The 80s. Wow that was a good time in life. This took me back when muzic was played by real muzicians and singers could really sing. We've lost much of that today. This sounds great! Love every second of it! :-)
Hi
i dont play the guitar only drums and i do all with the computer. i will continue to make more songs for you i dont think that all will be alright but i will try to satisfy you. i dont speak good english
Ok, so I thought, trap, not my usual thing...[click]. Hey it isn't fast or trippy, it's actually quite pleasant, smooth and flows nicely. I thought it was over, then... I like it. :-)
You are right! This IS the WORST song on the internet. Yet somehow it’s jazzy. Faved! :-) I have a few instruments I happen to love, and upright bass is one, it’s smooth, nothing can match it’s sound and there’s so much you can do with it. This reminds of an old 70s show theme song. Very nice work!
Ok, so you used two different acapellas, nice. Nice flow from the rappers. Sweet job on this, glad this dosage of hip hop was a pleasant one. :-) Lemme go see what other cool nuggets you got at your place...
Do you have lyrics? I agree with Wikkid, sounds like a delicate flower that needs just the right amount of water and sun, passion and care. Very beautiful piece! :-)
Nice flow. Intro makes you want to hear more. Sounds like a good track. And my sentiments exactly on change, the person it starts with us, and we pass it along to the next and so on and so forth. We never know how much we impact others lives, so sometimes you don’t see the reward, but believe me, you touch more than to know! :-) Good work!
Thank you!! @PatriciaEdwards I truly appreciate you listening, and the kind words. It was definitely my intention to leave just a minute of the song to capture a feeling, or thought. I couldn't have agreed with you more on that. much love.
I am a lonely snow leopard and I wish I had some snow leopard friends. This mountain is already cold enough without having other snow leopards to play with. I am so sad, where did my snow leopard family go? Everyday I walk around in circles, the wind beating on my coat. I don't know where my snow mountain mate went, but I can't leave this wind blowing mountain, not without him. So, I simply wait, wait, wait, for someone, anyone to return...in solitude... Good work here!!! :-)
Hmph! This is truly truly AMAZING! I did NOT expect those vocals in the beginning. It was like a "come follow me" hype and when I got to the destination there were angels singing, diamonds silver gold and all that sparkled floating about the atmosphere. I was greeted by lovely hosts dressed in all white, smiling, warm and welcoming me. It was like I was floating, unworried and unbothered about whatever it was I left behind. And then, what I'm guessing was part 2 took me to yet another place! Again, didn't expect the vocals, but they are so perfect here. I'm so dreamy eyed right now...I looooove your work. [now to wipe up some of this drool] Great great stuff! :-)
Thanks for the very nice feedback on the track, Patricia. It's great to see you back on Looperman. It's been a while, not that I should talk. I've been here only sporadically and haven't posted any tracks for quite a while. Anyway, I've often wondered how you were doing and if you would return.
I must tell you that I have been sitting on a partially finished track using your spoken acapella, "Summer Breeze". I actually think it's pretty good, or capable of being pretty good. BUT, I need a male vocalist (baritone) for it. Needs to have a voice like Luther Vandross or perhaps Barry White. So, it has sat on my hard disk for years, unfinished. Very frustrating because I think it could be something worth listening to.
You had a cold when you did that acapella and it gave your voice a husky character that really set the feel of the track. That's what inspired me.
Ugh! I shouldn't have read that description. Lol It's really sad. I really love this and your narrative puts it all in perspective. Great work. That voice crying out at 1:42..mwahh, so perfectly placed. Loved everything about this!
Thanks, Patricia. It's nice to try different genres. I like all kinds of music. Sometimes I wonder if I'd do better if I just focused on learning how to do one kind really well. But, I'm just not that disciplined I guess! :)
Love lovin the good vibes going on here. I started off somewhere near reggae and ended up I don't know, wherever the trumpet took me! And then the strings and their smooth talking, ah ha, love it.
Well, first, you have bee-you-tee-ful voice! This is so beautiful. The melody here, I know it's a cover, and I've never heard the original but I really don't need to now do I? :-) Beautiful work! Great delivery.
What a fun thing here. This makes me want to waltz around the office. Nice voice. Love the orchestral instrumentation. Those lyrics tho. Hehe Thank you for sharing! :-)
Hello there. First, I don't know if "everyone" knows it yet, but in case they didn't, I LOVE acoustic guitar. :-) Second, the bass I think is good, but it is louder than the rest of what's going on here. Bring the volume down on the bass, so we can enjoy the entire piece (together). Is that you on the acoustic as well?
Without the lyrics, as a vocalist, I'd be drawn to the muzic. But with the delivery and the lyrics, the whole piece of work, absolutely stunning! Sometimes I am faced with the decision to leave out nice riffs or harmony, but it never fails, I always come to realize...less is more. Everything is in its rightful place and this track is the outcome. Great work guys!!!!! [clapping]
Yeah, less is more. (Except when it's not. Which happens too.) Miss Sunny War was such a joy to work with. It's been two years now and I miss her and all that crazy work we did. Thanks for reminding me! I really appreciate your comments and inspiration.
I downloaded this tonight, I'm gonna share it on my profile as well. It's still a GREAT piece of art. Everyone can't write muzic in reverse, but you nailed this!!!!! Thanks again. :-)
Haha ok, so, I listened to it. Then I realized the end seemed to just kind of...disconnect. So, I played the end like 3 times, then I listened to the track again and my ears did not deceive me, it deactivated. Clever aren't ya! :-) Loved it!
