Wow does this song bring back memories for me. Fresh out of high school I did a muzical called Blues in the Night, and this was one of the songs I did. Love the live sound, I can almost imagine the band behind the sheer curtain, the dimmed lights, and the gloomy atmosphere. :-) You nailed it, especially with the tempo.
Tee hee, better than mama's arms. What royalnation said. If there is a way to make the vocal a little clearer so we can understand the lyrics better, that'd be cool. Good stuff! :-) Love it!
Hello Patricia and thank you for the comment. This song was recorded a long time ago with friends. I did a new mastering and add two short guitar loops. Not possible to make the vocal parts louder! Thanks again Miss.
Loving the disco vibes, I know, I know, it's house, but it takes me back to the disco era. I like everything except the "whoop", it kind of takes away from the rest of the song. But that's just my opinion. :-)
I really enjoyed this. I usually don't (intentionally) listen to the genre, but it doesn't quite strike me as electronic anyway. I was even humming some melodies. Can you tell me the bpm please? And thank you. :-)
Wow! Your work is amazing! The track is 4:04 but goodness know it takes way more time to put all this creativity into something we can enjoy! I just wish I had surround sound so I could play this extra loud and really get to hear all the elements at hand here. This is REALLY great work!! :-)
I think I just went on a voyage of some sort in a very strange land! I can't tell, but I hope I made it back alive because there sounded like some non-human life in there. Love every bit of the sound effects, every transition into another space with every step into this adventure. This could very easily be in a movie! Great work!
Ok, so I'm listening on a laptop with headphones, but I think the vocals are in a different key from the muzic? I like the simplicity of the muzic, doesn't take away from the mellow vibes, and the rain sound effects make me imagine a love sick puppy in the window asking "am I crazy...for you"? :-)
The vocal is in a different key from the muzic. Perhaps upload the muzic without the vocals, maybe someone can do a collaboration that will better compliment your muzic. :-) I don't know much about the technical stuff, but I agree with the power of the kick versus the vocals. Thanks. :-) Oh and, Patricia Edwards, not Henry. :-)
Hi Patricia, I love playing tracks behind your vocals. The drums are programmed by hand using Fruity Loops to give it a live feel. Then I add keyboards, guitar and bass. I love recording but I always want the music to have a live feel as that I what I think music is about. I want folks to close their eyes and imagine that they are somewhere and that is the band. Your vocals are genuine from the heart and your tone reflects that you care about the lyric and that is what makes it so great.
Wow, the many levels here. It felt like I was whisking through the air and being gently handled from one peaceful to another. This is cool!!! Thank you!
Yea it's the good songs you kind of want to cherish and hold on to, so, no download. I understand. :-) I love the feel of this, nice and chill. I love how it kind of morphs into the orchestral strings and all the different transitions and flavors of instruments! Good work.
Yah! What Danke said, what a tease. Lol It's very good. I love guitar, so it doesn't take much, but I love the feel of this! From what I understand it isn't the easiest thing for some people to write a song in reverse, around vocals, you have done a great job making it inviting and warm!!
If you're still looking for a vocalist, head on over to my page, I've got some stuff over there at my place. Or, if you've got some guitar stuff laying around I'd love to hear it. :-)
Hi. I have been listening to your acapellas already. Love your voice. Sometimes it takes a while for the inspiration to hit me. I listened to this acapella 10+ times before it finally clicked.
I love the narratives, and the fact that you offer narratives for your tracks! Yep, I'm corny like that. Lol It helps me envision your vision while I'm visioning your vision and listening. [chuckles] Ah hem.
I'm not one for mixing and mastering or any of those things, but this sounds clean and I can imagine Mister sad wolf sitting on the back porch playing his heart out. He may even been humming something about how he cures his loneliness through his victims. Oh, and I love the ending. :-) And since there's no download...fave! Thanks.
Yeah I really like to embellish on these descriptions. Its fun for me and as you say provides my vision. Yeah I like your vision too. I appreciate the fave and went ahead and unlocked it for download if you like. Thanks for the listen and nice comment.
Ya know...at this juncture in my life, I have learned that peace is necessary, without it things you go through in life can cause you to lose faith and hope. Indeed all these things work together!

Each of us in the women's ministry at church were asked to pray on a word that we would focus on for 2019, my word is surrender. It isn't easy, in a lot of aspects in my life, but I truly want to get there with God, so I really like the lyrics!
TY so much for the kind words. Yes, the world seems to be coming unhinged these days but it only confirms (to me) that we are well on the way to seeing Christ's return. When I was writing this song, I can say without a doubt that the Holy Ghost was right there with me, helping to guide me each step of the way.
God is good. TY Lord.

Thanks for your comment.
Actually I played my piano, but there were a lot of mistaken keys so that I corrected them for the great listeners like you.
See you, again.
