Nice track this, particularly like the intro. When I listened to it I wondered how that bass was going to come through as the track plays and then the drums kick in and it all falls into place. Nice work.
Pretty much spot on with your genre description. Plenty of variation in there to keep a listener on their toes, which is always a good thing :) Like the old school processed slap bass type sound you have in there as well. All good mate.
I try really hard but I can't seem to shake that
"good ole school processed slap Bass" sound, I've
been told I'm stuck in the 80's (I am) so I just go
with it when I think the sound is appropriate. To some
it's never appropriate so, I'm glad you liked it.
Thank you for your comments and listen.
Hey, thanks for the comment on my "Promise" track. A fellow pad fan then going by this track :) If you built this around a pre-existing vocal then you've done a great job with it. I hear so many tracks where it feels like the vocal has just been slapped on top kinda square peg round hole type efforts so this shows how it should be done. If it was a full collaboration though it's still good stuff. I also like the mix of different drum elements. Well done all round!!
Thank you. Pads are the best. The vocals are from an acapella Jenna uploaded here on Looperman titled "Immersing". I added the music around what she made. Proper integration of the vocals are paramount in a pop song. I appreciate your feedback.
