thank you so much Frenchkid... i'm a big fan of Tori Amos (who gets compared to Kate Buch a lot!) , so I guess that's where the influence comes from.

I like your idea of building something out of the track. There seem to be two opposing forces in our universe....the builders and the destroyers. I think it's better to be a builder....as long as we do not destroy anything beneficial in the process. Thanks for the nice review. -Ken

Thanks Frenchkid, you always give such kind reviews. I really appreciate hearing that people like my vocals. I am getting a lot more comfortable recording myself. I think I will be trying something more melodic next time.

I wish I could take more credit for it. My friend was on the vocals and guitar, which are sadly more in the background to my keyboard than I'd like. Next time we jam, I'm going to put two mics on him so I can balance it out more. This whole "recording from one mic" thing is forcing this to sound much more lo fi and amateur than I want it to.

Ideally I'll get enough audio to make something production level without having to buy studio time.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I'll pass it along to him to see if I can convince him to put some time/effort into recording for real.

Thanks for the listen FrenchKid. I've long admired your work. I especially liked your collab with Koukotsu. She and I are trying to put a couple tracks together right now. We'll see if anything comes of it. As you can see I do have a love of the oriental sounds.
