Nice and phat! Reminds me of a good aphrodite track, but much more intense. Which makes it much better! Good Job!

Nice one! Bass reminds me of my favorite song from that dj Dara album with the sunflower on the front. Good work!

nice minimal track. Not too busy as many dnb tracks try to be. Nice kinda chillout drum and bass. Good job!

nice glitchy work! I love the bass. Nice, deep, and hard to follow.

Nice clean tune! The vocals blend pretty well. I kinda wish the bass would drop a little harder on the low notes, but a phat track none the less!

Very nice! One of those songs that you listen to, and the silence after it ends is incredibly shocking. Great job! You can really engage a listener!

hey Djen. thanks for the review mate.

and yes, my main focus with this was to create intense sections and chill sections throughout, and finally climax it at the end to create that deadly silence affect, im glad it worked. im really pleased.

thanks again mate!
PEACE!

on Do You Ever Get Tired Of This by SwingKing
I'd say hell no I don't get tired of it. Otherwise I'd stop! I agree with the Aphrodite comparison. or dieselboy 97 octane. Either way a nice tightly knit piece. Not too dark, not too light. The parts blend well and it has a finished, professional feel. Good work!

I am really digging the track. The strings that come in appx 1:35 need something, I cannot figure out what. But the track and style are pimp! Good job!

Wow! I keep imagining a commercial behind this. You should do one for vista, you could probably sell it for a commercial shot. Professional job, good work!

I really like this sound! I think you could go miles with this track! You should finish it. It needs a little loving, like you said, but the sounds are on!

aktolman replied Unknown
Cheers man, im going to finish it. Removing some of the synth sounds, the ambient one and the high reece. Going to get something catchy in there ( i hope ).

Will post once im done with it!

on Output 12 Please listen by aktolman
Drum and bass is surprisingly hard to master. It sounds like you have some good material to work with, now you have to start screwing around with the effects. I am a noob too so I can't give too much advice.. What programs are you using?
aktolman
aktolman replied Unknown
Yeah, its a b'stard to master, ive got lots of side chaining with the bass and beats on this one to make it all sit right. Ive tried it on a couple of different systems and with my headphones and for the most part i think its ok, still plenty to do though man!

Im using logic with massive for most of this, nearly all strait out the synth with not to much polishing. Im going to get at it again...
