thank you- we were fond of creating a "wall of sound" in our compositions, which we learned from supergroups like Pink Floyd and Genesis, thick layers of strings and guitars, and we loved those groups so much we tried to emulate them- usually with "mixed" results, but with some success too- I am honored to receive your positive feedback-cheers Puk
Please don't get my post offensive. :)
Not bad - but not good too... There happens some good things, but too monotonic overall. The drums rules all over from the first sec to the end, everything else is strongly in the background. Lot of deep sounds but very few high ones - not the best for the balance.
Maybe i'm wrong, but i think so you are a "new", inexperienced producer, and this one of your first works. Just keep working, with time you will be more experienced (and more brave) and more balanced and complex tunes will come soon. Have fun with it!
Regards, traz
ps : sorry for my bad english, i hope it was understandable. :D
I was a bit skeptical about placing this in ambient because I felt that the composure sometimes pulled you away from the relaxing mood such as the chorus intro's.
Hey Traz, thanks man! I'm always in a different mood I guess when I make loops, but it's really more to do with trying to do something in a very short space of time...cheers mate Dave :)
Dunno, i'm very bad in cetegorization...
I don't speak any english, so can't know the word, but i mean that one what is sounds like "monchiciruppoo", which is really funny for hungarian ears (for those who lives 35+ years already). :)
Not bad, however dunno if the chillout tag is fully fit.
You can "extract" some fine and very usable synth and bass loops, i'm sure. :)
I feel some vocode(?) overused - nothing significant.
Hmm, really unusual track i think. Musically the track is a bit boring to me for 6 minutes (it's because i don't understand the vocal i think), it would have to been good a bit more variation. Despite that, i liked what i heard, fundamentally sounds really good and refined to me, just my style is a lot more action-packed.
However, i understand the fact that this monotony were the conception too because the vocal, so i do not wrote this as a critic. By the way, the lyrics are really cool!
Hello Traz75,
i am fully on your side when you say that this one is a little monoton. One big problem here is that Phatkatz has no real time and i had to use only some loops he made. And change guitar loops to a different key sounds mostly creapy so i didn't like to do that. At least the chorus should have some different keys but ......
Good to know that you think that the sound is good and that the vocals fit in a way to what i done.
Also thanks for the friendly words about the lyrics.
It's always sad to read such things like now... But life is hard, and your choice is understandable - nobody have unlimited time energy. Wish you good luck in life, and good health. Take care of yourself, so much work won't do any good in long term.
Btw, cool track!
"Chill out" is the last tag to come into my mind if i need to categorize it, but still sounds very cool! Especialy love that "waff" sound. :)
Regards, traz
I see (hear :D) you made another masterpiece of your unique musical style... It's always cool to listen to your really complex works, every time they gives some interesting thoughts or/and feelings, at least to me. Keep up the good work! :)
Hey Traz..thanks man! so glad you enjoyed the track, sometimes I make music and think 'people will probably hate this stuff and call it junk' it gladdens my heart that some like yourself find it ok...cheers mate Dave :)
Nice. I especially like the vocal. :)

I love the final fantasy series, and I found the song you were talking about (assuming there was only 1 finalfantasy based song u uploaded) but sadly I dont recognise what final fantasy it is based from :(
though it sounds very nice by itself :D
Nice one, especially by 20 mins. :)
But the acoustic tag really not fits to it, more like chillout or cinematic, as the previous posters suggests. :)
Regards, traz
Nice one! Me to surprised on the acoustic tag. :)
For a sec i thought too this is BonJovi, then for a sec Axl Rose. :D
Strong stuff, sound very professional to me!

Interesting track... A bit surprised at the "fast" beginning, expected some longer intro before the banjo comes in. :)
Sounds good, the mixing is quality one too, however somehow i feel it a bit too repetitive for my taste.
Thank you for your remarks, this is my 1st reggae although I don't listen too much, yes it sounds repetitive, cause berber music goes like that, it's a poem with rhythm and same ending sounds unlike other genre. Thank you :)

I like the style, and especially the full, complex sounding. Mostly find it hard-to-impossible to reach it...
