on TURN AROUND - T2 by TRE24

This is cool
I really like the Vox
Not fond of autotune throught, but this way it used in a intelligent way.

TRE24 replied 14th Jun 2017 - 9 years ago

I think you tried to spell throughout?
If so then autotune is only on the intro and hook. The rest is how I sound.
Thanks for the listen

on The Streets Are Ours by silverman

Cool track mate
That's fun because i used the same voice (at the beginning) on one of my demo (another not finished track... Damn)

silverman replied 14th Jun 2017 - 9 years ago

I have no idea where the voice came from other than a folder of mixed wavs on my pc.
Sounds like Donna Summers but I doubt it is.
It's a bit of an odd one that I have to keep listening to because there's something about it makes me want to take it further but will I?
I keep listening to it while playing stupid card games.

Cool track mate
it reminds me some David Byrne 80's vibes
Ghost in a bush of ghost stuff like that

grrr replied 6th Jun 2017 - 9 years ago

Thanks for your kind comment. Really pleased you liked it.
You're the first person to comment on my stuff in this forum , so thanks for that as well.

Talking Heads/Artist....that David Byrne ? Wasn't a massive fan, but I did like a few of his songs, and thought he was a clever and engaging performer, and very
imaginative and creative......so I'll definitely take the
compliment.....tanks

on WALKING DOWN THE STREET by CitizenMofo

I really dig the voice !
Really got something

CitizenMofo replied 6th Jun 2017 - 9 years ago

Sunny War is awesome. When I started working with her, she thought of herself as a guitar player, not a singer or a bass player. Now she's played bass on 55 of my tunes, so she's a bass player. And with all the positive looperman feedback I've shared with her on her vocals, she's got to feel like a pretty fine singer now. Thank you, and I will share with Sunny!
